The Churchill Foundation started in September 2013 for a terminal dog and his bucket list. While two years later that same terminal dog is healthier than ever and still kicking, The Churchill Foundation continues to strive, supporting him and other animals in similar circumstances. These shelter dogs got the ultimate Thanksgiving feast! 🐾

Thanks to The Churchill Foundation —they enjoyed meatballs muffins, sweet potato mash, green bean salad, and more!

The reality is Thankful Pup is an expensive fundraiser.

We have to purchase around $1250 worth of groceries to make the meals which means less funds raised for us and .
Donating to our grocery bill is a great way to support Thankful Pup and to make that end of year donation!

Continuing on with TCF, with a new mission and Thankful Pup, means we are now able to help other 501c3 organizations. Thankful Pup will allow us to continue as a nonprofit and grow our mission while donating to other 501c3 organizations. We couldn’t think of a better organization than to select as our first Thankful Pup Benefactor.

Hearts Alive Village is truly a village. Their accomplishments are immense, but you’ll find no egos there.

What you will find is:

Two low-cost veterinary clinics with affordable spay/neuter services
Foster and rescue programs that work to find homes for over 2,500 animals per year
A horse rescue and sanctuary
A cat cafe
Owner assist programs
A veterinary forensics program
A veteran support program
A food pantry assistance program
And more! Whew!

One of the things that makes HAV different is their holistic approach to animal welfare that addresses the source of overpopulation & ownership retention while providing a safety net for shelter animals and owner surrenders.

Las Vegas is lucky to have Hearts Alive Village and we are grateful to be partners.

If you’ve ever been to the Día de Mu***os event at Springs Preserve you probably visited the beautiful altar by .

We were so honored when they offered to add our Dublin to their altar. We cried a little, we smiled a little, and then we took a minute to say thanks to the universe for putting us on the same path with Dublin.

The Animal Foundation

The relationship we have with TAF is a long and cherished one. Thankful Pup is for them as much as us. It’s for the staff that work so hard to help as many animals as they can. It’s for the volunteers who proudly and lovingly care for every animal.

The Animal Foundation impacts over 20,000 animals a year through adoption, sheltering, rescue transfers and community assistance.
TAF provides low cost services such as microchipping, vaccines, owner requested humane euthanasia, pet pantry program and more.

It’s no secret that Las Vegas has a problem with overpopulation.
TAF is the nation’s busiest single site shelter and they have been for years.
It is only through community that we solve any problems and TAF needs our help more than ever. Donate/volunteer/foster if you can.

We salute the boots on the ground staff and volunteers that are so committed to the animals of Las Vegas. We are proud to call you our friends and we can’t wait to celebrate Thanksgiving with you all.
