Meet Kara — a sweet young pup who’s already come so far 🐾

Once found alone and frightened, Kara is now safe and beginning to learn that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.

She’s a shy, gentle girl who is making great progress every day. In her foster home, surrounded by other puppies, Kara is slowly building confidence—watching, learning, and growing at her own pace. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, her soft, loving personality truly begins to shine.

Kara would thrive in a calm, patient home with gentle adults or older, dog-savvy children who understand that trust takes time and love helps it grow.

If you’re willing to give her that time, Kara will reward you with a quiet, loyal kind of love that’s incredibly special 💜

Applicants must be at least 25 years old and live within a 5-hour driving radius of Thompson, PA. We check veterinary references and require all pets in the home to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and maintained on heartworm and flea & tick preventatives.

This boy is a professional snack stealer and quite the ladies man.❤️

He quite the performer with a big personality and apparently he thinks Sit Means Spin 🤣

He’s navigating the transition to the shelter well with the help of his handlers .
This beautiful brindle boy is 56 pounds and will need a bright collar or harness in the fall background because he’ll blend right in.

He’s been a perfect gentleman with us and we’d love to help him find his forever walking partner .
