Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 11

Confidence isn’t something you either have or you don’t. It’s something you build, the same way you’d build any other habit, one small repetition at a time.

The same goes for trusting yourself. Self-reliance isn’t a personality trait you’re born with. It’s a daily practice, made of small moments where you choose yourself instead of waiting for someone else to give you the green light.

This is exactly the kind of practice we build inside the RLO Course, piece by piece, week by week. Confidence as a behavior, not a feeling you’re waiting to stumble into.

Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 10

If you need to slow down this week, that’s not the same thing as giving up. I want you to hear that clearly.

Rest isn’t the opposite of progress. It’s part of it. Every version of strength I’ve ever built in my own life came with pauses built into it, moments where I stepped back on purpose so I’d have something left to give the next stretch.

Wherever you are this week, a pause counts as moving forward too.

We Don't Need January Energy to Finish December. We Need October Wisdom.

Here we are in the final stretch of 2026. Can you believe it? Nine months behind us and less than three months to go!

Everywhere we turn, we're hearing: Finish strong! Push harder! Get those goals accomplished!

I believe in working hard and going after your dreams. Anyone who knows me knows that! But after decades of building a business and navigating life's unexpected twists and turns, I've learned that finishing strong isn't always about doing MORE.

Sometimes it's about being more intentional with our time, our energy, and our choices.

Lately, I've been thinking about two qualities that have carried me through some of my toughest moments: Courage and staying power.

Courage is what helps you act. Staying power is what helps you continue.

Courage gets you started. It's taking the risk, making the decision, having the difficult conversation, or trying something you've never done before.

Staying power is what happens when the excitement wears off, things get difficult, and you wonder whether you have what it takes to keep going.

Believe me, I've needed plenty of both! And I've learned that sometimes the most courageous thing you can do is change your approach, ask for help, or give yourself permission to rest.

So as we move through these final months, here's what I hope you'll remember.

You don't have to accomplish everything. You don't have to say yes to everyone. And you don't have to carry every expectation you placed on yourself back in January.

Look at how far you've already come. Celebrate what you've accomplished, including the little victories that nobody else knows about.

And please, don't miss your life while you're busy finishing the year!

October is your life. November is your life. December is your life.

Make time to laugh. Call a friend. Go dancing. Take that little trip. Try something new. Do something just because it makes you happy!

I still have goals I'm pursuing before December 31. But I'm also going to enjoy these next few months. Because life isn't just about what we accomplish. It's about how we live along the way.

Here's my question for you: What is ONE thing you want to make time for before this year ends, simply because it brings you joy?

Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 9

Somebody, somewhere, has an idea of who you should be. Smaller, quieter, easier to manage. I want you to know you don’t owe them that.

You’re allowed to take up the space your actual life requires. You’re allowed to want more, say more, and be more than whatever box got handed to you early on.

Shrinking might make things more comfortable for other people, but it was never going to make you happy.

Red Lipstick ON! Today, take up your space.

Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 8

Boldness isn’t a personality trait some women have and others don’t. It’s a decision, made new every single day, usually in a moment nobody else even notices.

Today might ask something small of you, speaking up in a meeting, making the call you’ve been avoiding, saying what you actually think instead of what’s easiest. Whatever it is, that’s your version of bold today.

Red Lipstick ON. Go be bold in whatever way today requires.

You're the one everybody counts on. You keep the house running, show up for your kids, carry the weight at work, and somehow still remember everyone's birthday. You've worn the superwoman cape so long that you don't even notice it anymore.

But here's what I want you to hear: when you spend all your energy taking care of everyone else, you slowly lose sight of yourself.

You weren't put on this earth just to keep everybody else afloat. You're here to live your own purpose, to go after the things you really want, and to bring your gifts out into the world.

You deserve to feel satisfied and fulfilled, and yes, you're allowed to have fun along the way.

So let me ask you, when's the last time you did something just for you? Tell me in the comments.

Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 7

Somewhere along the way, a lot of us learned that our job was to keep everyone around us comfortable, even when it cost us something.

I want to challenge that today.

You are allowed to say the true thing. You are allowed to set the boundary. You are allowed to disappoint someone if the alternative is disappointing yourself. That’s not selfish. That’s staying power.

If this one hits home, I’d love to have you at this morning’s Real, Raw & Radiant Experience on Courage and Staying Power. We’re talking about exactly this kind of thing. https://bit.ly/4rKyNTE

Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 6

You are not a project that needs fixing. I want to say that plainly, because so many of us walk around treating ourselves like a problem to solve.

What you actually need most days isn’t a total reinvention. It’s reconnection, remembering the woman you were before life asked you to shrink, compromise, or perform.

She’s still in there. She didn’t go anywhere.

Today, see if you can find one small piece of her and bring her along with you.

Red Lipstick ON! 15 days of inspiration - Day 5

Resilience gets misunderstood a lot. People talk about it like the goal is to bounce back, to return to exactly who you were before the hard thing happened.

I don’t think that’s actually true, and I don’t think it’s even the point. The women I admire most didn’t bounce back to their old selves after their hardest chapters. They became someone new, someone steadier and more sure of themselves than they were before any of it happened.

If you’re in a hard season right now, you’re not trying to get back to who you used to be.

You’re becoming someone stronger than you’ve ever been. That’s the whole idea behind the RLO Course, if you ever want to go deeper on this.

At this Wednesday’s Real, Raw & Radiant Experience we'll be talking about Courage and Staying Power. October 7, 9 to 10am PT. Come and join us if the fourth quarter is already stretching you thin: https://bit.ly/4rKyNTE

You already know how to leap. The harder question is whether you know how to last.

By this point in the year, you've made a hundred decisions nobody saw. You've shown up on the days you didn't feel like it. You've kept going without anyone handing you a medal for it. That's courage too, the kind that doesn't look dramatic from the outside but costs you something every single day.

This Real, Raw & Radiant Experience is built for exactly that kind of tired. Not the burned-out, give-up kind. The kind that just needs somewhere to rest, breathe, and remember why you're still in this.

Because sometimes the most powerful move isn't leaping. It's lasting.
