Just a few more days left in the B4 auction and we have quite a few items without bids. To bid on an item just click on the photo in the auction album and make a comment with your bid amount. Make sure that it is at least $1 more than the current high bid. Marge’s surgery is scheduled for Monday and she needs our help!!!

SNORT is an all-volunteer registered 501(c)3 non-profit rescue based in the Northeast. Its purpose is to rescue brachycephalic dogs (mostly French Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, English Bulldogs and Pugs) from shelters and owners who can no longer keep them, and place them into loving homes. We believe all dogs should be given a chance and fair evaluation. Man’s best friend sometimes does not communicate in ways which we would like, and we pride ourselves for taking the time to understand their needs. Through education, training and matching dogs to the right homes, we hope to reduce the number of brachycephalic dogs that are euthanized unnecessarily.

Meet Pablito: 44 pounds of squeaky-pig-loving, couch-conquering sidekick energy wrapped in a resting bulldog face that’s more “thoughtful philosopher” than “grumpy old man.” This 2-year-old bulldog mix plays like a maniac for exactly 12 minutes, then transforms into a professional loaf the moment his belly hits the cushion. He’s housebroken, crate trained, dines on fancy whitefish cuisine (the allergies made him do it), and his only sworn enemy is the vacuum cleaner. Looking for an adults-only, cat-free home with maybe a similarly-sized dog buddy who appreciates his stoic charm. Bring snacks, bring his pig toy, and bring patience for the vacuum situation — he’ll bring the devotion. Learn more at: https://www.snortrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/

Marge is a young French Bulldog who was found as a stray in a rural area and ended up in a shelter. Her bilateral ear disease was so extensive that the shelter manager called it the worst case they have ever seen. They knew that SNORT would get this sweet girl the medical care that she needs. Marge will be having bilateral Total Ear Canal Ablation (TECA) and pinnectomy surgeries, as well as being spayed. These costly surgeries are needed because of how long her ears have gone untreated. Despite how uncomfortable this condition is for her Marge has been nothing but sweet.

**Harley has a few non-negotiables.**

She's a 3-year-old English Bulldog who survived cherry eyes, a hernia and knee surgery without losing an ounce of sweetness. Now she's ready for a home, and she knows exactly what she wants.

A couch. Not a corner of the couch. The couch.

A sunny window for her daily sunbathing session.

A fenced yard for zoomies once her knee is fully healed.

Daily eye drops, which she tolerates with great dignity and only a little drama.

A calm, patient person who gives good reassurance and better belly rubs.

Other dogs are fine, as long as they accept that Harley is in charge. She did not come this far to take orders.

In return, you get a housebroken, crate-trained, kid-friendly snuggler who knows sit and come and will love you with her whole 50 pounds.

Meet Harley and all of our adoptable dogs at https://www.snortrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/
