Hunger is a clock that never stops ticking.

For a stray cat, a routine is a lifeline. If you feed them at 8:00 AM once, it’s a meal. If you feed them at 8:00 AM for a week, it’s a promise. They build their entire day around that red bowl. They wait in the cold, trusting that the giant who brings the kibble will return.

When that bowl stays empty, they don’t understand you’re "busy" or "out of town." They only understand that the hunger is back, and the trust is broken.

Consistency is the kindest language we can speak to them. If you commit to a stray, please remember: you aren't just a food source. You are the only dependable thing in a chaotic world.

Don't let them wait for a footstep that isn’t coming.

We just can’t believe that not one person has asked to meet Stormee. 🥺⁣

This big, beautiful girl is our LONGEST TERM resident, and just we know her perfect match is out there. Stormee is truly a golden-hearted, overlooked gem who is going to make an incredible addition.⁣

At 5-years-old and 115 lbs, Stormee is a loving, smart, and well-mannered girl with a heart as big as she is! She loves treats⁣
(and will take them very gently), toys, naps, walks, and most of all… being by your side. She’s affectionate, friendly, and always ready to keep you company.⁣

She can be a strong puller so she’ll need someone comfortable handling her strength on leash. 💪 A single-dog home where she can be spoiled and adored is all this sweet girl needs. Older kids are recommended due to her size.⁣
