I’ve been mid auto immune flare up this week but our pups need tired out so we can relax.

We will be meeting at Peccole Ranch Trails for a pack walk at 8 am. We meet at the HOA building next to the park with the parking lot.

Maple from Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League got a free spot in our real world obedience classes and was such a polite class member.

Tomorrows pack walk will be at McCoullough Hills, meeting at the trailhead. This should be a relatively easy pack walk for everyone and this one will start at 8:30 because it’s pretty far for me so we’re going to get a slightly later start in the morning.. the weather should be gorgeous.

When Wendy and River first showed up at basic obedience class, he drug her into class with the enthusiasm of a drunken sailor on shore leave who found a party and was ready to go!

By a few weeks in he was walking politely and following his mom’s instructions and facing the world like a heckin good boy with polite manners and the ability to listen better to his mama.

Watching them both grow and learn and change and their relationship develop through it has been really awesome to watch.

I’m so proud of my group class attendees. River and his group complete basic obedience and are almost through with advanced obedience.

Henry is the biggest little man in social class.

He learned to acclimate to those in the class with him and be just fine, and it wasn’t until the environment was changed, and he was introduced to New dogs when it became a problem.

This is a common issue many dog parents with reactive dogs face. Your dog learn to get comfortable and one environment, but that façade drops in another.

In our real world obedience classes, we switch environments, and we try to re-create as many real world scenarios as we can, to make sure that your dog is capable of coping, no matter what is thrown at them.
