Update on the 35 Cat Eviction Rescue. We will be going tonight to assess the situation and transporting 18 of the cats on Sunday to Grand Montecito Animal Hospital for exams, shots and boarding for 30 days. This will cost around $11,000 and will have to pay in advance in order for them to take these babies. We have about $3000 of the down payment but will need help from the community. The money recently raised from the Giving Tuesday campaign takes 45 days or more to receive, so those funds won’t be available until next year. We know this has been a tough year for everyone but any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a huge rescue and we need a village (donations and fosters). These babies cannot end up on the streets. With the Animal Foundation having some serious challenges at this time, we want to give these babies every chance at NOT being euthanized.

Donations can also be dropped off at 6325 Grand Montecito Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89149. If you make a donation, please message Community Cat Angels so we can keep a record. The breakdown for the cost at Grand Montecito is listed below:

Exam - $50 x 18 = $900
Shots (2 needed @ $15 each) - $30 x 18 = $540
Boarding ($18/day each for 30 days) - $324 x 30 = $9,720)

Total cost for 30 days = $11,160
