From real-world training and breed-specific enrichment to half-day adventure hikes with a trainer. At High Country Horse & Hound, I bring a balanced approach to training and care. Living and working on a ranch, I understand the value of clear communication, respect, and consistency with both horses and dogs. Alongside my training work, I offer dog boarding designed for all breeds—especially those

who need a little more structure, activity, and understanding. Every dog here gets the right mix of exercise, engagement, and calm downtime. I’m also pursuing a career in Ranch & Land Real Estate, where I will specialize in equine properties, ranch and homestead spaces, and canine-friendly lifestyles. My goal is to help people find the right land and property that fits both their dreams and the needs of their animals. We offer dog boarding for crate trained dogs that love (and require) extra activity, enrichment or for dogs that just need some mountain time and a break from urbane life!! (There vacations may be more fun than yours!)

Daily hikes in Spruce Mountain Open space, social time with other dogs or 1:1 time with dogs that need their space!

Currently accepting 2-3 more clients (and their dogs) for our dog boarding program!

Overnight boarding in my home for dogs that need that extra exercise, enrichment and most importantly structure. We especially love those working breeds.

We accept all breed and ages of dogs that are crate trained. As a balanced dog trainer I encourage those dogs that have been through board and trains and are looking for someone to board your dogs that will be consistent with all the hard work you have put into your dogs.
