💙 Meet our newest little LAWS kiddo. 💙

This tiny puppy (we’re guessing about 5–6 weeks old) came into our care today after being found on the Wind River Reservation with a very serious leg injury and infection.

Thanks to the amazing coordination and quick action from the Spay & Neuter Cruiser, he was transported to The Stock Doc in Riverton, WY where he received emergency care, a full amputation of the right front leg, stitches, pain medication, and antibiotics. Spay & Neuter Cruiser also covered his surgery and overnight hospitalization, totaling nearly $900. We are so incredibly grateful for them stepping up and giving this little guy a chance. ❤️

Today was his first day with us, and despite everything he has been through, he is already showing us that he is a fighter. He’s eating well, he’s alert, and he has a little bit of s***k that makes us think he’s going to have quite the personality once he settles in. 🐾

He doesn’t have a name yet… but we’ll share one soon!

This is exactly why fosters are so important. Puppy and kitten season is here, and when we don’t have foster homes available, we we have to turn animals in need away.
