Oh, Ms. Margie! Formerly, Ms Purple to those who might not know. 6 months has flown by, and we feel so lucky that she has stayed so close and we've been able to watch her and her family grow. I know Hazelnut really looks forward to days when Margie Poochie comes to visit, and you can see on the video (not attached, but on our Insta post), that most of the day is spent romping around the yard! That video is almost a month old, though, and truth be told, Margie is just about as tall as Mama Dog these days! The best days are when Sister Chewie comes for a visit and Margie and Chewie wrestle and play. So cute. Margie continues to be "perfect purple." So smart and friendly, yet completely happy to do her own thing. And like many of the puppies, eye lashes for days! Her legs are finally long enough, and her agility is finally almost matching that of Mama's in that she can properly play keep away with the ball. It's totally annoying for Hazel, but it's completely entertaining for us humans! 🤣 Summer break will be hard, not getting to see this little...er big...fuzzy doodlehead much. 💜💜💜

At almost 6 months old, Hazel still has so many beautiful white highlights all over! These photos may be a couple of weeks old. I'm sure Patricia will updatee soon with new ones! She's gotten her first haircut, and it's already grown out so much. She's started to get use to life with a boat, and we just love all the photos we get with her being so amazingly spoiled rotten! She weighed 43 pounds at 5 months old, so though her FOMO kept her small as a young puppy, she's certainly made up for it! Legs for days! 🚤💛

Though this little lady is owned by our best friends, she seems to allude my camera somehow! Chewbacca (formerly Ms Pink) still maintains her more slight stature, and super intelligence. She loves her family fiercely and we just love it when we get to watch her be a silly puppy with her sister and mama. 🩷

Bet you may not recognize this big 'ol boy! Especially with his new do, as it's quite the change from the shaggy mop of a puppy coat he'd grown. It's Duffy! At almost 6 months old, you can see he's still a big love muffin. Duffy (formerly Mr Blue) has lots of grandkids to keep him busy, and his mama calls him a gift. Phew... I mean, I knew he was a special boy, but I also hoped he could keep up that good boy status elsewhere! 💙 🧸

It's been a quick minute since our last pup-date, but the crazy 8 pack is growing like fuzzy weeds! As we approach their 6 month birthdays, many of them have gotten their first haircuts, and others just much needed eye trims!

We've got 2 puppies still with us, though they both have anxiously awaiting arms to snuggle them. Their families had holiday plans before these cuties came along that is keeping them with us a little longer than some of the others. We decided to take on housebreaking the pups this week (Mr Blue was with us until Thursday and was included in this). What amazing puppies! Our housebreaking results have been so great considering 3 (sometimes 4) puppies were still running around everywhere. We set up 3 kennels our home, and started kennel (crate) training for overnights on Monday. I couldn't be prouder! We're going on night 5 tonight and outside of getting up voluntarily night 1, the puppies are sleeping through the night! Wahoo! Tonight, just like last night, they happily trotted into their kennels and laid down. I gave them some treats, and we covered the kennels went to bed without protest. Ahhh! What a lovely feeling to be shown, yet again, how amazing your puppies are!

I think the caption says it all! We are beside ourselves with joy that all of our amazing pup-pups have found their families! We know how great they are, but trying to convey that to everyone else is always one's worry! *Not pictured, of course, is our sweet yellow puppy who is already in her new home. We miss her tons, but know she's doing amazing and loved deeply! These poopy puppies have been so wonderful. We love them all so much, and it's almost time to see them all off! Soon, my Paw Patrol, soon! Soon, you'll all be off, saving the world, in your own individual puppy ways!

Our puppies are almost ready to head out to their forever homes! Can you believe we still have a few that are not spoken for!? 😲
They include this beautiful, sweet girlie. Ms. Purple is a perfect balance of smarts, sweets, tenacity, curls, & kisses. Our Volhard's testers called her very sweet with an amazing temperment. She can come across as quiet within the pack, but one on one, she shines as bright as any star. 🌟 I caught my 10 year old working with her the other afternoon, and couldn't help capturing a video to show how truly awesome she is! I think this is pretty good for 7 weeks old. 💜🧠
