💛🐾 Makena update! 🐾💛
She’s officially embracing the Keys pup life and has the biggest personality. She’s curious, fearless, and happiest when she’s with her people. She has the softest puppy fur ever—seriously, everyone who meets her can’t stop petting her.
She’s doing amazing with her crate and playpen, but if she has the choice, she’d much rather be curled up touching one of us. A paw on your foot, her head in your lap, or snuggled up beside you is exactly where she wants to be.
Favorite things:
🚤 Boat days
☀️ Soaking up the Florida sun
🌅 Sunset cruises
🍦 Pup cups
💦 Swimming in the pool
🏖️ Beach zoomies & sandbar digging
🐾 Playing tag with Brody
🦴 Treats (she’s never met one she didn’t like)
🧸 Every toy… especially if she can carry it around
🌿 Carrying a stick or leaf everywhere she goes
🚗 Car rides
❤️ Belly rubs & cuddles
🥰 Always touching one of her people
👋 Making new friends (because everyone is her best friend)
Everyone who meets Makena falls in love with her. She’s taken on every new adventure with so much confidence and has settled into the Keys life like she was born for it.
Fun facts:
😂 On the ride home, we discovered she’d eaten two of her siblings’ collars. We’re choosing to believe she just missed them that much.
🌿 She believes every walk requires an accessory, so she’s almost always carrying a stick or leaf.
🤦♀️ If it fits in her mouth, she’ll probably give it a taste first.

🚫 Being told “leave it”
🚫 When the boat day ends
🚫 Not being close enough to Mom or Dad
🚫 When we trade her “treasures” for an actual toy 😂
She’s sweet, adventurous, incredibly snuggly, and always ready for whatever adventure comes next. We are completely obsessed with our soft, sunshine-loving boat dog and can’t imagine our family—or our adventures—without Makena. 💛🌴⚓️
