The Kill on Old Mill Welcome to “The Kill on Old Mill”…a humble tribute to the Halloween season, and a Haunts for Hunger house! All donations will be given to area food pantries.

Things just haven’t been quite right here since the elderly pumpkin farmer disappeared. We reckon he shouldn’t have planted his crops so close to the old, run down cemetery. Over the past year the mayhem has spread and claimed even more victims. Will you be next...........

The Kill on Old Mill started many years ago with Halloween revelers visiting our house and peering through the front windows, eager to get a glimpse at the dark and foggy living room graveyard. As years passed, and people’s time on earth expired, we were forced to expand the cemetery into the front yard. We’re not sure if it’s the makeup of the soil, or events stricken from the recorded history of the area, but the cemetery expansion seems to have left a calling card for the undead. This year the garage pumpkin patch seems to have been affected even more than last year. Be wary when you visit, as you never know what might pop up. So be sure to pay us a visit and help put the residents of Old Mill Cemetery to rest. Contributions of non-perishable people/pet food or monetary donations are greatly appreciated.

Hi Creepies,
The minions are hard at work and have set the schedule for "The Kill" 2026. Our basic yard display will be illuminated on Monday 10-5 through Halloween. Our full display nights with extra scenes, animatronics and special FX will be ready to haunt you on October 23, 24, 30, 31 from dusk until 10:27p.m. The Ghostbusters will be securing the perimeter from ornery specters, during full display dates TBD. Mark your calendars!

Hello Creepies,

"The Kill" used 24 real pumpkins in our display this year. After "The Kill" closed for the season, some were given to neighbors, some were cut up by the minions (they love fresh roasted pumpkin seeds with Cajun spice!). We still have a bunch of pumpkins available for those that have a taste for fresh roasted pumpkin seeds (or a recipe featuring pumpkin). The remaining pumpkins are by our garage door. Take what you desire as we will be bringing the remainder to LRS "pumpkin smash", compost on Friday morning. If you take pumpkins, please recycle the leftovers with your yard waste.

Cheers!
- The Minions

Hi Creepies,
We have been working on dismantling "The Kill" since Halloween night (3am). About 10 minutes ago, we finally finished putting it to rest for the season! Thanks to everyone that visited during our full display nights, and thank you for your generous donations towards the food pantry. This was the second largest food donation and the fifth largest cash donation that we received since we have been collecting. Please keep the food pantry in mind throughout the year, as they are a bit overwhelmed and would welcome any donations. The minions earned a few days break, then will begin repairing damaged props and creating new ones this Saturday.... that is if they have yard damage restoration completed!

Stay spooky and have a wonderful holiday season!

Howdy Creepies,
Thank you so much for visiting us during our full display nights! We’re enjoyed talking with you and really liked seeing the fun and screams that our humble haunt brought forth. Also, thanks for all of your generous food and cash donations for our local food pantry. They will definitely appreciate it! Thanks to those who came back on Halloween night after the hailstorm/heavy rain. Our minions were busy in the display fixing issues that the undead brought upon us, when Mother Nature unleashed her fury. We wish that we had footage of visitors scrambling to their cars when it hit. The hail hurt when it hit, and the minions seem to have permanent dents in their heads. Part of the full display was dismantled on Halloween night (3:30am dinner for the minions). We are now concentrating on taking down the scenes in the living room and garage. Our main display (minus a handful of props) will be illuminated until we are ready to take down the main yard. The donation bin and cash mailbox for the food pantry will be available until we take down the main yard display. The minions are trying to get a few more donations as the food pantry needs help prior to the holiday rush. We are humbled that 3-4 generations of visitors are telling us that they are passing on the tradition. Can you believe that this year marked 25 years since we moved the haunt from the living room to the outdoors? The minions are feeling really old!

Cheers,
The Kill on Old Mill Minions

The Kill on Old Mill
Hi Creepies,
Halloween is creeping up on us (Friday). We will have full display happening after dusk. Some of our Ghost Buster minions will be on site for this celebration. Trick-or-Treats will be available at the bottom of the driveway by the hearse (while supplies last). The minions are working overtime fixing props (that Mother Nature claimed), along with packing goodie bags with candy and toys for trick-or-treaters.
Hope to see you here on Halloween!
As a reminder, we are collecting non-perishable food and cash donations for our local food pantry. They really need help prior to the Christmas rush! Your generous donations to the food pantry (helping your neighbors) is greatly appreciated!
Cheers, -The Minions of KOOM
