At The Stables on Buck Lake, we believe horses are better enjoyed together.

We're looking to welcome a few more adult amateur riders into our growing community. Whether you're getting back into riding after years away, currently riding and looking to grow, or searching for a supportive group of like-minded horse lovers, we'd love to meet you.

We currently have openings for:

🐴 Training Board
🐴 Lessons
🐴 Partial & Full Leases

Our riders enjoy a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere where goals are supported, friendships are formed, and progress is celebrated. From Dressage and Natural Horsemanship to Obstacle Work and confidence-building, we help riders meet their goals while enjoying the journey.

And because riding should be fun, we're also launching our monthly Wine Down Wednesday gatherings beginning June 17 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Ride, learn, connect, and enjoy snacks, refreshments, and great company with other adult amateurs in the area.

We have become aware of Happy Hooves Stables using our address in an effort to SCAM people out of deposits for horses for sale.

We are not Happy Hooves Stables and would never ask for a deposit before you came to try a horse!

Hard work, heart, and a whole lot of determination 💫
The Stables on Buck Lake team brought their best to the Blue Angels Dressage Show this weekend, and it showed in every ride. From early mornings to final centerlines, every rider gave it their all and supported each other every step of the way.

A huge highlight— Assistant trainer Emily Vendryes earning her Bronze Medal on Zem 🥉✨
This has been a long time coming, and it’s a true reflection of her dedication, perseverance, and growth as a rider. So proud of how far this pair has come!

Amelia and Miss Petunia had an incredible weekend, not only earning the High Point award today 🌟 but riding with confidence, consistency, and really stepping up to show how much they’ve both improved.

Harper and Mo absolutely knocked it out of the park in their lead line class, and Hailey with Petunia also rode beautifully in the lead line, showing confidence and smiles all around.

Rebecca Vendryes took on her first freestyle with Sweet Story, working hard every step of the way—such a special milestone!

Vickie and Bobby joined the team this weekend for a great outing, making the most of every ride!

Clara and Solo have been putting in the work, showing determination and steady progress each ride, and it’s great to see their effort paying off in the ring.

Hannah Hood and Summit had a great weekend, riding with confidence and giving it their all in the Florida sunshine ☀️

Cailey and Zara made their show debut in the best way—bringing positive energy, big smiles, and so much fun to the team. ✨ They rode beautifully and handled everything like pros. Such an exciting start for this pair!

A big thank you to Lauren Boes for all her help this weekend—and for keeping everyone smiling and laughing along the way! And another huge thank you to Olivia Jones, our head trainer, for being such an encouraging and incredible coach to us all.

Blue Angels Dressage Show = a day full of progress ✨

The Stables on Buck Lake team showed up with determination, rode through the challenges, and came out stronger. So many encouraging rides, new skills unlocked, and confidence growing with every test.

Day 1 at Blue Angels Dressage ✨

We’ve officially arrived and kicked things off with a great start—nothing but positive, confidence-building schooling rides all around. Horses are happy, riders are feeling good, and the energy here is exactly what you hope for heading into a show weekend.

Meet Jim ✨
This 15-year-old Thoroughbred gelding is ready to find his perfect match and a loving home. With his puppy dog personality, Jim is the kind of horse that quickly becomes your best friend.

He’s ideal for low-level dressage and truly enjoys getting out for hacks, whether it’s on his own or with company. Jim is easy to handle, trailers well, and is great for both the vet and farrier.

He does require some maintenance, and we have x-rays on file. We believe in full honesty and are happy to put serious inquiries in touch with our vet.

If you’re looking for a kind-hearted partner to enjoy and love, Jim might be your guy 💙
