✨Well… I’m doing it again! ✨
I just signed my contract for 2027, which means I’m officially heading into year seven as a travel advisor.
When I started this, I wasn’t thinking about year seven. I was thinking about trying something new. I was excited, nervous, curious, and honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into.
I definitely didn’t have it all figured out.
And I still don’t.
But somewhere between that first booking and the thousands of little things that come with building a business, I became someone who does know what she’s doing. Someone who can confidently guide a family through the overwhelming parts of planning a magical vacation. Someone who knows that sometimes the most important part of a trip isn't the resort or the itinerary—it’s the reason that family is taking the trip in the first place. Someone who will encourage you to just take the trip!
I’ve changed a lot in seven years.
📲 My business has changed.
✨ My priorities have changed.
🧡 My life has changed.
And somehow, this has continued to build & grow right alongside me. There are things I know now that I could have only learned by doing this, things I would do completely differently if I were starting over, and there are things about the girl who started seven years ago that I hope I never lose—especially the excitement she felt every time someone trusted her with their vacation!
So no, this post isn’t really about a contract. It’s about realizing that seven years ago, I started something I wasn’t sure I could build… and I’m still here.
👉 Still learning.
👉 Still growing.
👉 Still ridiculously excited when I get to help someone plan a trip.
👉 Still talking about Disney like it’s a competitive sport & being your favorite Disney dining queen.
And now I get to see what year seven looks like. 2027 — I’m ready to find out!
