June getting some naps on place, while we haven’t posted in awhile we have been hard at work! Social media has just taken a back burner to other priorities. It is on my agenda to start doing more so you all can see the progression of each pup that comes through!

As we remember all of the heroes today that helped us recover from one of the bleakest days in American history. Over 300 working dogs paired up with their two legged heroes and went to work. Despite what you believe who did what or who’s responsible, we acknowledge those that went above their duty to get us back on track.

I was in 7th grade English class when they reeled the TV in and we sat there watching people jump to their death on live tv, we saw the towers collapse, some of those very same students in that class later went to war and are still paying for that choice today.

Maybe as we remember that day, we can be the Americans we were on 9/12 again. United, proud, and grieving together as story after story of heroes paying the ultimate price later came out. Maybe in these divisive times where people celebrate the deaths of those simply because they don’t agree with them, we can remember what it felt to be an American that day.

USA TODAY Pets is taking a closer look at some of the guide dogs and K9s who risked their lives during 9/11 rescue and recovery efforts.

Love these memories popping up, time really does fly. Even though I’m not with that company anymore I wouldn’t be here without all of the learning experiences there. 7 years in the game and thankful every day for the opportunity.

Reposting because we are once again in an extreme heat warning for a few days. Keep yourself and your pup safe during this time.
