With Christmas right around the corner and all the donations we have gotten so far, I wanted to update the list of things we are still in need of. There's definitely enough blankets donated this year to give out blankets to at least 4 shelter/rescues, which is absolutely amazing, so thank you to everyone who came together and made that possible! Even though we have gotten a lot of blankets this year, we will continue to accept them, because we can always over stock the shelters and donate them to shelters not on the list.

So for the people who are wondering where we're at on the donated supplies, here is an updated list of items we still need (and what's been recieved so far):

- WET GRAIN-FREE DOG FOOD (none)

- CAT LITTER/PUPPY PADS (none)

- LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT/TRASH BAGS (none)

- JUGS OF WATER (none)

- DRY GRAIN-FREE CAT FOOD (1 bag)

- DRY GRAIN-FREE DOG FOOD (1 bag)

- CAT TREATS (2 pks)

- CAT TOYS (8 toys)

- COLLARS, LEASHES, HARNESSES (4 xs items)

- CLEANING SUPPLIES (2 paper towel pks, 8 disinfectant wipe pks, 3 bleach bottles)

- DOG TREATS (10 small pks)

- DOG TOYS (45 toys)

- WET CAT FOOD (12 adult & 48 kitten cans)

- PET CLOTHING (5 sm coats/sweaters & 4 bandanas)

- CAT/DOG BEDDING (1 med dog bed)

If you have any of these items that your willing to donate to Santa Paws, please let me know! I'm more than happy to make arrangements to pick it up. Even just donating one new/used item makes a difference and if you cant afford to donate, you can always help Santa Paws out by sharing this post and spreading the word!

We still have some time before Santa Paws delivers to all the shelter dogs and cats this year! For the people who want to buy specifically requested items by the shelter, there is an amazon wishlist of those items. If your worried about the items not arriving before we deliver, you can look at the wishlist items for ideas or I can send you a list of the requested items and please feel free to buy them in-store. I organized the wishlist with tags so you wont have to scroll through everything:

We generally accept any dog or cat donation items, even if they are used items or items your pet just didnt like, but here is a generalized list of used/no longer needed items we look for:
-dry dog/cat food (grain free)
-wet dog/cat food (grain free)
-dog/cat toys
-dog/cat treats
-dog/cat furniture or bedding (washed or cleaned)
-old blankets/towels (all sizes, washed)
-cleaning supplies (paper towels, bleach, garbage bags, etc.)
-potty items (litter, pads, cleaned litterboxes, etc.)
-grooming items
-clothing/costumes/accessories (for adoption photos, walks, and weather protection)

We also understand that some people cant afford to donate and may be struggling themselves, so please make sure you take care of yourself and your family first! You can always help out by sharing this post to help us get the word out.

Again I want to thank everyone who participates and donates every year! You guys are amazing and your little acts of kindness really makes a difference to the shelter animals! Seeing the community come together to do this and seeing all the animals enjoying their donations, really makes my heart so full and means so much to me!
