Find Mickey the Shih Tzu

Good morning everybody. Here are the updates from the time I've been offline.

1. I've been posting multiple posters that are constantly getting taken down in the street of Fairgrove ave all the way towards N Hacienda Blvd in La Puente/West Covina. I've used a ladder to hang the posters, but they continue to make their way off the post in less than 2 days.

2. I am mailing a packet of a written statement and five pictures to local groomers, vets, and pet stores around the area in attempt to find Mickey. If there was an easier way to mass mail these types of business in a different county, please let me have your suggestions.

3. On our daily visits to the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter to look for Mickey, my brother and I have agreed to foster two dogs. We wanted to turn our grief into something more positive. We are looking for owners if anyone is interested and will be posting pictures soon. They are getting over their Kennel cough and will be neutered 10-days post antibiotic treatment.

I am absolutely humbled by your efforts to find my baby. Some of you have been contacting me frequently regarding shih-tzus you find online and I am greatly thankful for this. Seriously, if there was any way to throw a big ass pizza party when this is all done, I'm up for it.

There isn't a day that goes by when I don't think about my doggie. Here is another picture of him. I thank all of you for keeping an eye out and getting the messages you have been sending me. My brother and I are coping as best as we can.

Good morning everybody. Our search continues for Mickey. I had a tip from one of our posters that there was a possible sighting in La Puente near the Wal-Mart area on fairgrove ave. Here is another picture of what he looks like. I reckon his hair should be this long by now.

Good evening everybody. I haven't found Mickey yet, but I have someone I know who is also looking for his Shih-Tzu

Her name is Trixie, She is about 10 years old. Small and white with brown spots on her back. She will come to anybody who calls her name. She loves to be held and have her stomach scratched. Thank you all again for the likes, shares, and mentions from this page. I am truly happy to have you all here.

Good morning everyone!. My brother will be going to the Baldwin park animal shelter today to see if my doggy is there. I am grounded at the hospital for the next two days. Therefore I will be working on the social media aspect of things when I can.

As I'm driving to visit my patient, I've noticed my poster and flyers around California ave and Fairgrove ave have been taken down. Hopefully with this info I can narrow down my search to this neighborhood.

I hope you guys can keep an eye out for anything suspicious. I have been getting emails and phone calls (even one from Canada) regarding my doggy. I don't know how to make this up to all of you, but if there are any ideas please let me know!

Good afternoon friends. It has been 17 days since Mickey has gone missing. I've received a message from a member of a possible sighting of Mickey at the 600 block of Tamar Dr between homeland and temple. I will be around the area around 630-8pm looking for him, but I appreciate the extra set of eyes if anyone can help. I'd also be more than happy to buy you guys dinner!

Good morning everybody! So far I haven't had luck finding Mickey. I have picked up a bunch of packets at kinkos that I've made with pictures of him while he's short haired and longed haired. They will be distributed at the groomers around the area.

On June 5th, 2017, my doggie ran off and was picked up by a black sedan at the corner of Willow Ave and Fairgrove Ave at the Edgewood Academy Parking Lot in La Puente, CA. Multiple eyewitnesses stated seeing a black car with two females and one male coaxing my dog into their car. A neighbor who spoke with the gentleman, stated their intentions were to bring my doggy to the shelter, which Baldwin Park Animal Shelter is currently the closest. After checking the shelter everyday, there are still no signs of Mickey.

Since the day he went missing, I have been tirelessly searching day and night, posting flyers/posters and speaking with the neighborhood. It's certainly affecting my relationship with my girlfriend, but I can't give up hope just yet. You see, Mickey helped me during a painful transition of my first Shih-Tzu, Chewy, passing away. Often times, I would see character traits in Mickey that reminded me of Chewy, and the pain of losing him became that much more bearable. Now I've lost both of them and my heart continues to ache.

I truly believe in miracles and have witnessed miracles in my career as a nurse. I'm just hoping for the miracle of finding my doggy.
