This precious lil pup stopped by our table at the Fairlington Dog Fest!

Meet Venus!

She hopped right up on this placeboard, so shes a natural! According to the rescue she is housebroken, and according to us she is ADORABLE.

If you are interested in adopting before the holidays, perhaps reach out to Homeward Trails Animal Rescue and inquire about Venus!Homeward Trails Animal Rescue

Sasha (GSD/Mal) kicked off Day Train #1 with Trainer Deanna, brushing up on her obedience in new environments! 💪🐕

🐾 MEET LEO! BOARD & TRAIN 🐾

This energetic Golden Retriever came into his Board & Train program with a LOT of enthusiasm… and not quite enough self-control! 😂

Jumping on people. Counter surfing. Pulling on leash. Play biting. No recall. No sit. No down. And absolutely NO brakes!

But that’s what training is for. 💪🏼🐕

Day 2 with Trainer Deanna and Leo is already learning that obedience isn’t just about commands — it’s about manners, structure, impulse control, and learning how to make better choices.

And this boy is SMART! He loves to work, loves to learn, and has the kind of energy that can become a huge asset when it’s given the right direction.

From chaos to control.
From overexcited to focused.
From puppy habits to real-world manners.

This is only Day 2.

Stay tuned… Leo’s transformation is just getting started! 👀🐾
