NEW FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT HOMES NEEDED!

Alfalfa (black) and Buckwheat (tan) are in need of a new foster home due to illness of their current foster. They are currently together but can be separated. They are both about 9 lbs and will be available for adoption after 6/30. They can go into local foster to adopt homes immediately as well. We believe they are labs mixed with a smaller breed. Please let us know if you can foster one or both.

Almond is a 4-month-old mixed breed sweetheart (DOB 2/18/2026) weighing about 20 pounds and growing into an incredibly fun, smart, and entertaining puppy.

This girl is a ball of sass who is definitely too clever for her own good. She loves exploring, figuring things out, and occasionally creating her own adventures. Whether she’s climbing onto the puppy pile for the best nap spot or investigating something new, Almond keeps life interesting!

This handsome little guy is Louie, a 2-year-old Shih Tzu weighing in at just 16 pounds of fluff, charm, and companionship. ❤️

Louie is looking for a committed foster or adoptive home so he can make his way to Wisconsin and join New Leash On Life Dog Rescue. If a home is secured, he could arrive on June 17th!

Louie is a friendly, social boy who enjoys being around both people and other pets. He’s:

⚖️ 20–25 lbs (and still growing!)

Rosie’s story started a little rough… she was found as a tiny stray in a rural area, covered in hundreds of fleas and trying to make it on her own. But if Rosie remembers those days, she certainly doesn’t let them define her. She has traded survival mode for puppy mode and is fully embracing the good life 💕

Today, Rosie is everything a puppy should be: sweet, friendly, curious, and full of love. She believes laps are the best seat in the house and will happily climb up to shower you with kisses before settling in for a nap.

She’s got a wonderful mix of independence and companionship. Rosie can entertain herself with toys and chews, but she’s happiest when people or another dog join the fun. She loves exploring outside, taking in all the sights and smells with that classic curious puppy spirit.

Rosie is also making her foster family proud! She’s doing great with potty training, is super food motivated (which makes training extra fun), and has been sleeping through the night in her kennel like a champ.

And the best part? Rosie is a social butterfly 🩷 She’s been doing great with dogs, cats, and kids, making her a wonderful candidate for many different types of homes.

🐶💙 Meet Bob! 💙🐶

7-8-year-old Basset Hound Mix

Bob is the total package! This happy-go-lucky guy is full of personality, love, and classic Basset charm. With his adorable turned-out feet, big Basset bark, and goofy smile that never seems to leave his face, Bob has a way of making everyone he meets fall in love.

Bob loves people, other dogs, treats, and life in general. He’s currently living with five foster dogs and does wonderfully with them. Whether he’s exploring the yard with his canine friends or joining the group for potty breaks, Bob is always happy to be part of the fun.

He’s also been introduced to cats and is curious about them. While he’s still learning the finer points of sharing a home with feline friends, he’s making progress every day and continuing to improve his house manners.

Like any true Basset Hound, Bob has opinions… and he’s not afraid to share them! Whether he’s announcing that dinner should arrive immediately or requesting extra attention from his people, Bob’s charming personality is always on display.

One of Bob’s best qualities is how eager he is to learn. He’s extremely food motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. Although he’s still adjusting to life as a house dog, he’s doing an amazing job. Bob has had no accidents in foster care and is doing great with going potty outside.

When the adventures are over, Bob is more than happy to trade excitement for snuggles. His favorite place is relaxing in bed with his people, soaking up affection and enjoying the comforts of family life.

Escaped at 7:05 PM 6/18

Miss Almond ran off from her weekend foster home tonight and is missing!! She was staying near the Holland Air field in the Holland Estates subdivision in Holmen, WI. She is just a young pup and can be somewhat shy. She likely still has a collar and leash attached. If you live in the area please be sure to look under vehicles and decks as she likely will find a place to hunker down. Holmen PD is also aware. Please message us with any sightings or updates!

🐾🎃 Chucky is a petite little guy in need of a foster or adoptive home 🎃🐾

Chucky arrived in Wisconsin this past Wednesday, unpacked his bags, brought his best puppy-dog eyes, and fully expected someone to fall in love with him by now.

Instead, this sweet boy is still waiting for a foster or forever home.

Chucky’s story began just before Halloween when he was found abandoned in a box near a community mailbox. He was only 5-6 weeks old, covered in fleas, loaded with parasites, and struggling to survive. A kind Good Samaritan stepped in, and from that moment on, his life changed forever.

With good food, veterinary care, and lots of love, Chucky blossomed into the happy, healthy pup he is today.

Now all he needs is a family. ❤️

At 8-9 months old and about 25 lbs, Chucky is the perfect size for just about any adventure. He’s playful without being overwhelming, affectionate without being clingy, and always ready to make new friends.
