💖 Meet Zola: Looking for the Right Kind of Forever for a Deaf sweet doggie💖

Zola thought she had found her happily-ever-after.

But sometimes love isn’t enough if the fit isn’t right.

After going home, it became clear that the busy, high-energy environment was simply too much for her. Zola gets overstimulated when life gets chaotic, and while this wasn’t anyone’s fault, it means she’s once again searching for the family she was always meant to have.

At just 2-3 years old and 40 pounds, Zola has so much love packed into her little body. She raised six beautiful puppies (our famous Z Pups! 🐾), watched them find families of their own, and now it’s finally her turn.

One of the things that makes Zola extra special is that she’s deaf. But don’t let that fool you. This girl is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and loves working with her people. She responds beautifully to her training collar and thrives when given guidance, routine, and love.

✨ Zola’s Highlights ✨

✔️ Deaf but highly trainable and eager to please
✔️ Fully potty trained
✔️ Crate trained
✔️ Good with dogs
🚫 Although she has sometimes done ok with them cats are a no-go to be safe. She tries to play too rough
✔️ Best with calmer, older kids who can respect her boundaries and playful, sometimes mouthy terrier personality
✔️ Loves walks, adventures, and car rides
✔️ Equally happy to curl up for couch cuddles afterward

Zola loves with her whole heart. She wants to be with her people. She wants to go on adventures, play hard, and then snuggle up beside you at the end of the day. She isn’t looking for a perfect family. She’s just looking for the right one.

After spending so much of her life taking care of everyone else, Mama Zola deserves someone who will choose her, understand her, and love her exactly as she is.

Could that be you? 💕

🐾 Meet Rosie 🩷 🐾
DOB: 12/22/2025
🐶 Heeler Mix
⚖️ 20–25 lbs (and still growing!)

Rosie’s story started a little rough… she was found as a tiny stray in a rural area, covered in hundreds of fleas and trying to make it on her own. But if Rosie remembers those days, she certainly doesn’t let them define her. She has traded survival mode for puppy mode and is fully embracing the good life 💕

Today, Rosie is everything a puppy should be: sweet, friendly, curious, and full of love. She believes laps are the best seat in the house and will happily climb up to shower you with kisses before settling in for a nap.

She’s got a wonderful mix of independence and companionship. Rosie can entertain herself with toys and chews, but she’s happiest when people or another dog join the fun. She loves exploring outside, taking in all the sights and smells with that classic curious puppy spirit.

Rosie is also making her foster family proud! She’s doing great with potty training, is super food motivated (which makes training extra fun), and has been sleeping through the night in her kennel like a champ.

And the best part? Rosie is a social butterfly 🩷 She’s been doing great with dogs, cats, and kids, making her a wonderful candidate for many different types of homes.

If you’re looking for a puppy who will fill your days with snuggles, adventures, puppy kisses, and unconditional love, Rosie is ready to meet you 🐾

✨ $250 adoption fee includes:
✔️ Spay
✔️ Microchip
✔️ UTD vaccines
✔️ Current vet check

🐾 Meet Ruby 🐾 COURTESY POST!

Ruby is a 2-year-old spayed Redbone Coonhound mix who is fully up to date on vaccinations and needs to find a new family where she is the only dog. ❤️

If you’re looking for a dog who wants to truly do life with you, Ruby may be your girl.

Ruby is incredibly people-oriented and forms deep bonds with her humans. She’s affectionate, smart, active, and happiest when she’s close to her person, whether that means tagging along on adventures or curling up beside you on the couch at the end of the day.

She also has the cutest goofy side 😄 One minute she’s carrying around blankets like a little housekeeping supervisor, the next she’s giving you her signature tiny tongue-out expression that’s impossible not to laugh at. Ruby has a sweet, soulful personality with just enough hound-dog silliness sprinkled in to keep life entertaining.

Ruby is about 70 lbs and enjoys walks, though she can pull at times, especially when she’s nervous or adjusting to new situations. She’s still building confidence in unfamiliar environments and will thrive with a patient adopter who can help reassure her as she settles in. So far, she has not reacted to dogs while on leash.
✨ About Ruby:

🐾 Approx. 70 lbs
🐾 Spayed female
🐾 Redbone Coonhound mix
🐾 Up to date on vaccinations

🌸 Mama Lucy Is Still Waiting… But She Hasn’t Given Up 🌸

While nearly all of her puppies have found families of their own, Mama Lucy is still patiently sitting on the sidelines wondering when it will finally be her turn. And honestly? We can’t understand why. 💔

Lucy is a 2-year-old, 43 lb Catahoula mix with the sweetest soft soul and eyes that tell a whole story. She came into rescue focused on raising her babies, and she was an amazing mama. Now those puppies are off living their happily-ever-afters… and Lucy is ready to start her own chapter. 🐾

This girl has been working SO hard in foster care. Lucy has been building her confidence, improving her leash skills, and learning that the world is not such a scary place after all. Every day she gets a little braver, a little more comfortable, and a little more playful. Watching her slowly bloom has been something really special. 🌼

She can be shy at first, but once you earn her trust, Lucy becomes deeply attached to her people. She absolutely adores her foster family, especially her foster dad, and she’s discovered that cuddles, treats, and being loved are actually pretty wonderful things. 💗

Lucy is food motivated, eager to learn, and would thrive with a patient family willing to continue helping her grow. She doesn’t need perfection. She just needs someone willing to believe in her.

And after everything she’s done for her puppies… we’d really love to see someone finally choose her. ✨

💌 Adoption Fee: $200
Includes spay, microchip, heartworm test, UTD vaccines, and current vet check.

If you think Lucy could be your missing piece, apply today at newleashdogrescue.com 🐶💙

🐾 Meet Ruby 🐾
Part cuddle bug, part comedy act, part unstoppable little tank. 💜

Ruby is a 3-year-old, 41-lb tripod girl looking for her forever home.

This sweet girl has already overcome so much in her short life. Ruby’s front paw had been stuck in an abnormal position and dragged when she walked, causing sores and infection. After surgery to amputate the leg, Ruby bounced right back like nothing could slow her down. And honestly? That pretty much sums her up perfectly.

Ruby is VERY spunky and full of personality. She loves being outside, exploring the yard, trotting around with her happy grin, and showing off just how fast a three-legged dog can zoom. But once she’s gotten her sillies out, she’s more than happy to turn into a total cuddle bug.

She’s dog friendly, very sweet, a good listener, and has the softest velvety coat. Seriously… petting Ruby is basically therapeutic. ✨

Despite everything she’s been through, Ruby wakes up every day happy, goofy, and ready to love life. She doesn’t feel sorry for herself one bit, and neither should you. She’s thriving.

🐾 3 years old
🐾 Approx. 41 lbs
🐾 Dog friendly
🐾 Heartworm negative
🐾 Spayed
🐾 Tripod & thriving
🐾 $200 adoption fee

Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, UTD vaccines, heartworm test, and current vet check.

Ruby is looking for someone who sees her not as “the dog with three legs,” but simply as the amazing dog she is. She’s ready for a family of her very own, a soft place to land, and a lifetime of adventures, cuddles, and love. 💜

If you’re preapproved, message us. Otherwise apply at newleashdogrescue.com.

🐾 Meet Wilma 🐾

Wilma is a 1.5-year-old maybe-Boxer, maybe-mystery-mix, but one thing is certain… she is 100% adorable 💕

This sweet girl is currently thriving in foster care alongside two doggy friends and has proven herself to be an excellent housemate. Wilma plays nicely, respects boundaries, and takes treats ever so gently because this girl has manners.

Her absolute favorite thing in the world? Cuddling.
If you sit down, Wilma assumes it’s an official invitation for snuggles. Movie night on the couch? She’s ready. Personal space? She’s not entirely convinced that’s a real thing. Wilma may not technically be lap-sized, but nobody has told her that yet 😄

When she’s not busy being a professional cuddle bug, Wilma loves soaking up sunshine outdoors, exploring the yard, and bravely keeping rabbits in line. More than anything, she just wants to be near her people. Wherever you are, that’s exactly where Wilma wants to be too.

Like many dogs, the kennel isn’t her favorite place, but she’s willing to negotiate for snacks. She keeps her kennel clean like the responsible lady she is! Wilma is also working on keeping all four paws on the floor when she gets excited and learning that shoes are not chew toys. She’s smart, eager, and making great progress every day.

Wilma also LOVES bones and chewies. Hand her a good chew and she’s one happy girl.

Overall, Wilma is a goofy, loving, sunshine-chasing, cuddle-demanding pup who is ready to bring endless joy, laughter, and love into a lucky home.

✨ Bonus good news: Wilma’s adoption fee has been fully sponsored! She is already spayed and up to date on vaccines.

If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Wilma might just be your perfect match 🩷

Sabine is still looking for a foster or preadoptive home!

Sabine is still looking for a foster or preadoptive home!

🐾 Meet Sabine, aka “Mommy Mom” 🐾

Sabine is a 2-3 year old, 65 lb sweetheart looking for a committed foster or adoptive home so she can officially join our rescue 💛

Part comedian, part cuddle bug, part tiny backyard explorer, Sabine approaches life with pure joy and curiosity. If she finds a leaf, stick, rock, or random backyard “treasure,” you can expect her to proudly parade it around like she just discovered buried pirate gold 🪵🍂✨

Sabine LOVES other dogs and thrives with canine friends. She also peacefully snuggles with cats indoors, though outside she believes squirrels, birds, cats, and unfortunately skunks are all participants in an extreme sport competition she absolutely must referee 😅

This sweet girl adores toys, being outside, and hearing she’s a “good girl.” Her tail starts wagging and basically never powers down. While she can be a little hesitant when nervous, the fastest way to her heart is a treat or toy. Once she trusts you, she loves HARD.

Sabine is still learning the ropes of indoor life and has made amazing progress. She’s about 90% potty trained, does well with routine, and sleeps happily on a dog bed or curled up beside her people. Because she was once found starving, meal routines are very important to her and late dinners can make her anxious. She should be crated if left alone for more than a few hours.

She’s quiet, affectionate, goofy, and full of personality. Her foster mom says she’s never heard her growl or whine, and she only barks when she’s out having the time of her life playing with the other dogs 🐶

Sabine deserves a family who will continue showing her what safety, love, and stability feel like.

💲$200 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, UTD vaccines, heartworm test, and current vet check.

🐾 Meet Charlie! 🐾

Charlie is a handsome Catahoula Leopard/Aussie mix pup with the sweetest eyes and an adorable goofy side to match. Born on 11/20/2025 (Mama Lucy’s pup), he’s right in that fun (and busy!) puppy stage where he’s learning all the important life skills.

Charlie was originally adopted as a tiny pup, but like many young dogs, he’s still working through the basics — potty training, crate training, and those teething days that can lead to some chewing. All totally normal for his age, and he’s already making great progress!

💛 What we love about Charlie:

* Such a sweet little goofball
* Around 30–35 lbs
* Learning how to play with other dogs
* Also great at entertaining himself (he’ll play catch with his own toys!)
* Making progress with potty training
* Keeps his crate clean so far (great foundation!)
* Does pretty well on leash
* Sits like a champ for treats 🍪

Charlie is still working on loving his kennel — he may cry a bit at first — but he’s already going in more willingly and improving every day. He just needs a patient, consistent home to help him continue building confidence.

He’s the perfect mix of playful, independent, and snuggly — a pup who can keep himself busy but will happily soak up love from his people.

If you’re ready for a loyal companion, puppy laughs, and a whole lot of love, Charlie might just be your guy. 🐶✨

💲 Adoption fee: $250
Includes neuter, microchip, UTD vaccines, and current vet check.
