Day 1️⃣ with the Newborns!

Margo is doing such a great job at being “mama”💕 She is super gentle and extra careful when lying down & responsive to every sound and movement.

The challenges of big litters and bigger mamas is S•A•F•E•T•Y. Mama and the pups are monitored 24 hours a day with puppy counts taking place multiple times an hour, sometimes multiple times each minute.  Once we get past the first 3 to 4 days it becomes all about nutrition. 🍗

🐾 WORK IN PROGRESS WEDNESDAY 🐾

What happens when a puppy graduates Puppy Academy but is still waiting for their perfect fit? We keep going! ❤️

The longer they stay with us, the more time we have for refinement, repetition and real-life experience. Every day at I Dream of Doodles is a day of enrichment and learning.

Our Academy graduates continue working on:
🐾 Respectful leash walking
🐾 Grooming manners
🐾 Sit, down & simple commands
🐾 Verbal & nonverbal cues
🐾 Group training & social skills
🐾 Impulse control
🐾 Crate training
🐾 Everyday home-life skills

There’s no “downtime” while they wait. We simply keep building on what they already know—helping each puppy become more confident, polished, and prepared for life with their future family.

The longer the stay, the more refined the puppy. 🐶✨ When they reach the “polished puppy” level, fees will be adjusted accordingly.

That’s what happens here at I Dream of Doodles every single day.

Honey is a Puppy Academy graduate and is ready to make the transition into her forever home! She is fully crate trained, fully vaccinated and has already built a wonderful foundation of puppy manners and everyday skills.

Honey is a true delight—sweet, loving, and just the right size! We expect her adult weight to be around 10–12 pounds, making her the perfect petite companion.
