Kyle Campus – 500 FM 150 E, Kyle, TX 78640
Dripping Springs Campus – 2965 FM 165, Dripping Springs, TX 78620 PAWS is relentless in our effort to save lives and change lives. Our efforts in that regard include:

•Holding offsite adoptions to get the animals out into the community.
•Fully vaccinating and microchipping our animals so that they can begin their long, happy lives with their new owners,

“fully equipped!”.
•Visiting local community groups and schools to educate our community on responsible pet ownership.
•Making sure that every animal in our care gets the medical attention it needs.
•Pioneering the Pets in Prison Program (also known as the Cell Dog Program) to help those dogs who have behavior issues that might hinder them in finding a loving family.
•Implementing a Behavior Testing Program which temperament tests all those in our care before they are adopted into the community, allowing for better placement of pets into a new home environment that is best for all.
•Spaying or neutering all our animals to further our commitment to be part of the solution in our communities’ pet overpopulation problem.

We have a wonderful nearly 1-year adoptaversary update! Who remembers when Chase and Colby (now Cooper) were adopted together? 🤩

From Chase and Cooper’s mama:

“It’s been almost a year since we adopted these two handsome big boys, Chase and Cooper! They didn’t know each other until the day we adopted them…now they are inseparable! They love going with us on all of our adventures. We are so truly happy! Thank you PAWS for helping us complete our family!❤️”

We are happy to share that Puck is officially in foster with one of our foster superheroes! Puck is doing great with the other dogs and even the kitties in his foster home (as you can see!) He will go back with his foster after his training is complete, until his forever family finds him. 🤎

THANK YOU for caring about the homeless animals in our care!

Meet 1 year old Odie 🤎

This sweet little guy came to us recently and we’re still getting to know him, but here’s what we do know.

Odie was one of about 60 dogs in a hoarding situation. All the pups were rescued, and thanks to New Braunfels Humane Society reaching out to us, we were able to take sweet Odie “home” to PAWS.

Odie is timid and not so confident yet, but he adores people, affection and attention. Because of his first year living with so many dogs in a bad situation, he’s ok with some and unsure of some dogs at this time. And that’s ok!

He’s crate trained, good with kitties and just needs a chance for a human to show him what life can TRULY be.

Odie is only 1, and his first year of life has not been kind to him. Still - he trusts people. Let’s find him a loving home.

Captain Crunch needs his community 🤎
*Kyle, TX*

CC has been at PAWS for 309 days without a shelter break. We would love to see this Super Sweet Senior adopted into a loving home- but even a foster break would absolutely thrill us!

CC is a senior with a LOT of energy. He just can’t seem to ever fully relax here. He just needs some loving and a chance.

Things to know about almost 8 year old Captain Crunch:

- he bounces his front two legs up and down when he’s excited!
- he loves hugs!
- he loves the pool
- has the cutest underbite
- he’s good with some dogs
- he shouldn’t like with kitties

Thank you for sharing this sweet boy. A senior dog with this much energy and love to give should not have to be here with us for this long 🙏

We say it all the time, but these photos prove it: A foster home can change the life of a shelter pet. 👏

Lil Sebastian has been with PAWS for over a year now. And although he has made great progress with those he knows, in our kennels, he remains nervous, avoidant, and shy. Shelter life is too overwhelming for him. Because of this, when people walk through our kennels, they tend to overlook and walk past him. 😢

But recently we had an AMAZING woman come forward wanting to give him a chance to decompress. Here’s what Lil Sebastian’s current foster mom has to say: 👇

“Lil Sebastian is digging home life! There are so many new sights, sounds, and smells. He’s getting used to them. He still doesn’t know what to make of the roosters crowing in neighboring yards though. They have a really weird bark! He’s getting comfortable in the house and backyard. The world outside of the front door is still a little overwhelming, but he’ll be a pro at walking around the neighborhood in no time.

Lil Sebastian loves the crate in the living room to decompress. The couch is comfy, too and he likes to crawl up in my lap for cuddles! I think his favorite time so far is the mornings (other than those pesky rooster barks). He goes outside to do his business, have some breakfast, and then it’s PLAY TIME! Zoomies in the backyard and playing fetch with the oversized tennis ball are his faves.” (Can you tell by the photos?! 😉)

This is the real Lil Sebastian. He is happy, playful, and full of life. This is what happens when you give a shelter dog a chance and look past their kennel behavior. 👏

Lil Sebastian is still looking for a forever home though. Adopt him today! We know, that with a permanent home, he will only continue to blossom. 🥰
