Gotta do what you gotta do, this horse had lost his shoe and had big chips between his heels and mid toe quarter, on top of being really under run and thin hoof walled, the rasp is welded in onto the ground side of the shoe then dental impression material underneath to help distribute all the weight on the back half of the foot more evenly

Super thankful to have been invited to help with the 4-H horse camp in cascade Idaho today. Was able to talk to the next generation of kids about the importance of hoof care and help them learn how to safely handle feet.
