Pistol's babies are 6 weeks old today! I can't believe in just 2 more weeks my sweet little ones are off to their new homes. They are all doing so well and have started to respond when I call their names. They have also really started to play with each other in the last few days and are doing amazing with their potty training.

It's been an eventful week and Pistol gave us quite a scare. Sunday morning she woke up with a very high fever, was lethargic, shaking, no appetite and after looking her over I found what I suspected to be mastitis in one of her breasts. We headed straight to the er and they confirmed my suspicion. By the time we got to er, her fever was dangerously high and she was hospitalized. Thankfully she was sent home later that evening after her fever had come down with meds and orders to rest and treat with warm compresses but I was told to keep a close eye on her as it could abscess.. well it did and Weds morning we were back in the er and she ended up having surgery. Thankfully she is now home and on the mend. So thankful she came home to us!
