Added another species I have wanted a long time! These girls are Russian Rat Snakes (Elaphe schrenkii), a large Colubrid that is very docile by nature. When we want something different Josh and Danielle Alder is the place to go! The coolest thing with these guys is the color change. As an adult what you see that’s tan will be bright yellow. What you see that’s dark will be iridescent gloss black! Can’t wait to see these grow up and our male to come a little later!

Japanese King Rats starting to come into their adult colorations. The scale pattern on the head is just unreal and as they mature they bear a striking resemblance to a King Cobra 😂. A spunky, alert and inquisitive species that are super fun to interact with!
