Birds of a feather are stronger together. 🦆

We could not be more proud of the conservation and waterfowl hunting community for coming together and making our voices heard.

While organizations, partners, and hunters took part in this effort through different avenues, it was refreshing to see duck hunters put differences aside and unite around something that matters to all of us.

These issues won’t disappear, and the future will bring more roadblocks and challenges. But let’s remember this moment.

We are united by our love for ducks, wetlands and duck hunting — and we are stronger when we stand together.

🚨 The Prairie Pothole Region—the “Duck Factory” of North America—is at risk of losing critical wetland protections due to proposed regulatory changes. These wetlands are essential for nesting ducks and countless other wildlife species.

Please take a minute to submit a public comment in support of keeping these protections in place. Public comment period 8/7/2026‼️

Today we celebrate the birth of the greatest nation on earth and remember the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the brave men who fought for our independence 250 years ago.

Because of their willingness to stand for freedom, generations of Americans have enjoyed the blessings of liberty and the opportunity to enjoy traditions like hunting, conservation, and time spent outdoors with family and friends.

From all of us at the East Tennessee Chapter of Delta Waterfowl, we wish you and your family a safe and blessed Independence Day.

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July! God Bless America! 🇺🇸

They might be cute, but skunks are one of the most efficient nest predators on the landscape.

With an incredible sense of smell, they can locate duck nests hidden in grass that would otherwise go unnoticed. Once found, eggs can quickly become an easy meal.

Understanding how predators like skunks interact with nesting waterfowl is an important part of the bigger conservation picture. Through research and on-the-ground efforts, Delta Waterfowl works to better understand these dynamics and help support strong duck production.

Tennessee hunters deserve clear and consistent regulations across the entire state.

We encourage everyone to contact your state representatives and urge them to support this legislation so that lawful hunting methods remain regulated at the state level, not by individual local jurisdictions.

Protect fair, uniform hunting laws and help preserve Tennessee’s hunting heritage.

A bill sparked by a controversial duck hunting case in Sweetwater has cleared the Tennessee State Senate and now heads to the House. The legislation aims to clar

Last night was one for the books.
We are beyond grateful for everyone who came out, supported our chapter, and helped make this banquet such a success.

From the energy in the room to the generosity shown all night long — this community showed up in a big way. Events like this remind us why we do what we do and why Delta Waterfowl’s mission matters so much here in East Tennessee.

Thank you to our attendees, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and committee members who helped make it all happen. We couldn’t do this without you.

We’re excited to see the impact this will have on conservation efforts and future projects right here at home.
