Two more Gemstones are home. 🤍✈️

We’re a little late sharing these two special deliveries! Between sickness, lots of travel, and some unexpected things in our personal lives, posting has taken a bit of a back seat—but we couldn’t let these boys’ homecomings go unshared. 🤍

Cobalt, now Koby, took to the skies with us for his journey to Orlando, Florida, where we had the sweetest family waiting to welcome him. ✈️🐾

And our sweet Sterling got to meet his family in person before beginning his journey all the way home to New York! Watching another one of our babies leave in the arms of a family who has been waiting for them never gets old.

One of our favorite parts of this program is getting to be a small piece of these moments—from raising them in our home, watching their personalities unfold, helping make their matches, and finally getting to see them off on their next adventure. We’re so thankful for every family who trusts us with something this special. 🤍

And just like that, our Gemstone girls are home. 🤍✈️🐾

This week we had the privilege of personally delivering both of our girls from the Gemstone Litter to their forever families.

Opal—now Dutch—and I started our morning at the airport and took to the skies together. ✈️ She was an absolute little traveler and made the sweetest travel companion before finally getting to meet the family who had been waiting for her on the other side.

A couple days later, it was Pearl’s turn. 🤍 We packed up her puppy basket, loaded up the car, and headed to Lexington to place her into the arms of her new family.

There is something so special about getting to be part of that final moment. We spend the first 12 weeks raising these babies in our home, learning their personalities, loving them, training them, and preparing them for life beyond us—and then we get to watch the people who have loved them from afar finally hold them for the first time.

This is the part that makes every bit of it worth it.

Two little girls. Two different journeys. Two forever families. And two more Duke’s Forever Doodles babies exactly where they belong. 🤎

Welcome home, Dutch & Pearl. We already miss you girls. 🥹🐾

Our last full day with all six Gemstone babies together. 🥹❤️

We’ve all been a little under the weather, so we slept in this morning after a middle-of-the-night potty trip — and woke up to ZERO accidents in their crates! 👏🏼 These babies have been doing so incredibly well with their outside potty routine, and I’m so proud of how far they’ve come.

But this morning feels a little extra bittersweet because it’s Opal’s last full day with her siblings. Tomorrow morning, she and I are headed to the airport to begin her journey home to her forever family. ✈️❤️

So today we’re soaking up the puppy piles, outside playtime, sibling chaos, and every last Opal snuggle we can. 🥹

The Gemstone goodbyes officially begin tomorrow. 💎🐾

A BIG milestone for our Gemstone Litter today 🥹💎

Today was their very first all-outside potty day — and not a single accident! 🤍👏🏼 Watching all of the little pieces of their Signature Start come together is one of my favorite parts of these final weeks.

Next week, these babies start heading off to their forever families, and I’m officially in the bittersweet stage. 🥹 We’ve poured so much love, time, and intention into raising them, and while it’s so hard to imagine our days without all six of them running around together, I truly couldn’t be more excited for the families waiting to love them.

For now, we’re soaking up these last big play sessions together. 🤍

And somehow, our sweet Onyx & Copper are still waiting for their people. 💎 Two incredibly special boys who are more than ready to find the families meant for them.

Another little upgrade to our puppy packs 🤍🐾

Every DFD puppy will now head home with their very own Snuggle Puppy! With a real-feel heartbeat, these little guys are designed to provide comfort during the transition away from mom, littermates, and everything familiar.

We’re always looking for ways to make the transition from our home to yours just a little bit easier — especially during those first few nights. 🤍

One of our favorite parts of raising these puppies is getting to see just how far their little paws travel to find the families they were meant for. From Tennessee all the way to New York, Florida, California, Texas and beyond, each pin on this map represents a DFD puppy who has become part of someone’s family. 🥹

A little Sunday adventure for our last two available Gemstone boys. 🤎🖤

Tonight, Onyx & Copper joined us for family dinner at the in-laws and got to sneak in some extra real-life socialization along the way! They enjoyed a car ride, worked on their outside potty foundations, soaked up plenty of snuggles and attention from more kiddos, and got to experience all the sights, sounds, and activity that come along with a busy family evening.

These everyday experiences are such an important part of our DFD Signature Start Program. We want our puppies to experience life beyond our home before go-home day—different people, places, routines, car rides, and environments—so they can continue building confidence and adaptability.

And of course, both boys thought the extra attention was a pretty great way to spend their Sunday. 🥰
