Healing comes when you help others.

We all experience hardship in our lives, and animals often suffer the most during financial difficulties. In these situations, owners may cut costs by moving horses to pasture board, taking over daily chores, switching to cheaper forage, or skipping routine veterinary and farrier visits. However, changing forage and skipping essential care can significantly harm a horse's health if not managed carefully.

On September 7, 2026, the team at Fierlis Enterprises, LLC rescued three horses and a donkey from a poor living situation resulting from financial hardship. They were severely malnourished and depressed, urgently needed farrier and veterinary services, and two had injuries. They are now receiving proper care and loving attention.

Thanks to our partners and friends, these animals have made remarkable progress over the past few days. All four have had their feet trimmed, are receiving proper nutrition multiple times daily, and are showing signs of recovery and hope.

Stay tuned for more updates, and please keep them in your thoughts.

This is a preview.

Same wall. Same barn. Same day.

On the left is what the wood actually looks like when itโ€™s properly cleaned.
On the right is years of buildup that slowly becomes the โ€œnormalโ€ look over time.

We are working on a full deep clean on a large barn, and weโ€™ll be sharing the full before-and-afters soon. But this one section alone shows how much difference a true deep clean makes.

This kind of work isnโ€™t cosmetic. Itโ€™s about air quality, horse health, preserving materials, and taking pride in spaces that work hard every single day.

These jobs are big. Theyโ€™re physical. And theyโ€™re easy to put off.
Thatโ€™s exactly why we do them.

More to come.

Sometimes the help youโ€™re waiting for never shows up.

So you adjust.

This horse had a goal, a wheelbarrow, and a plan that finally worked.

We see this kind of persistence every day in barns and on farms. Animals and people both figuring it out one step at a time.

๐Ÿง  Think Safety Thursday | Winter Stall Safety

Winter brings a unique set of challenges for horse care, especially when barns are closed up for colder weather.

Dust, moisture, and ammonia can build up quickly in winter stalls, which can irritate airways and contribute to respiratory issues. Damp or poorly maintained stalls can also increase the risk of skin and hoof problems if theyโ€™re not addressed consistently.

Keeping stalls clean, dry, and well managed is one of the simplest and most effective ways to support equine health through the winter months.

A few winter stall safety reminders:
โ€ข Remove soiled bedding regularly
โ€ข Use good quality shavings
โ€ข Keep stalls dry and well maintained
โ€ข Improve airflow on milder winter days like weโ€™re currently experiencing

A clean stall isnโ€™t just about how it looks. It plays a direct role in comfort, respiratory health, and overall well-being during the cooler months.

If you need help keeping up with stall care this winter, Fierlis is happy to help!

Fence work is never just about posts and boards. Itโ€™s about safety, function, longevity, and making sure your property works the way it should - for animals, equipment, and people.

We offer a wide range of fencing projects, including but not limited to:

โ€ข Four-board fencing for equine properties, balancing durability with a clean, classic look
โ€ข High-tensile electric fencing, designed for efficiency, containment, and long-term reliability
โ€ข Cattle fencing built to handle pressure, terrain changes, and real-world use
โ€ข Grading of surrounding areas
โ€ข New installs, replacements, and structural corrections to existing fence lines

Every project starts with the same approach: assess the land, understand how the space is used, plan and build something that will hold up - not just look good on day one.

If youโ€™re planning new fencing, upgrading an existing line, or trying to solve a problem on your property, weโ€™re happy to talk through options and help you choose the right solution.
