BONES π€ | Fully Trained | Therapy Dog Prospect | Kid Friendly
Bones is not just a good dog. He is the kind of dog who makes life feel bigger, brighter, and more alive β expressive, deeply loyal, and full of personality. He is looking for a home that will embrace his joyful spirit and love him for exactly who he is. πΎ
Bones is a 1-year-old, 70lb male mixed breed (Embark tested, primarily Poodle and Boxer) with no health concerns. He is affectionate, emotionally connected, and thrives on being part of his family. When you come home, he greets you with pure happiness β proudly grabbing a favorite item to show you while wiggling, grumbling, and celebrating your return. He forms deep bonds and naturally tunes into his people.
He is wonderful with children and loves being part of family life, though he is still young and exuberant and may accidentally knock over very small children with his enthusiasm. He is professionally trained, off-leash reliable, crate trained, and house trained. His training includes excellent manners such as no jumping on people, no counter surfing, no pulling on leash, waiting politely at doorways, and reliable off-leash recall. He is an ESA prospect with strong potential to mature into a therapy dog as he continues to grow.
Bones shares a special bond with Finch, who helped raise him. They are deeply connected, play beautifully together, and provide each other with natural balance and companionship. While not required, preference will be given to homes interested in adopting them together, as they are ideally matched in temperament, lifestyle, and family compatibility.
