Is having a live gecko shipped actually as scary as it sounds?

Here's what really happens: overnight shipping, we check the weather for the origin, the destination, and the relevant routing conditions for that shipment, ship days are Monday-Wednesday so nothing sits over a weekend, and most customers' geckos are held for pickup at a FedEx Hold at Location / approved pickup location the next morning.

Geckos travel this way so their time in transit stays as short and controlled as reasonably possible.
