I want to give a huge thank you to every single person who has played a part in sharing Market with a Mission, whether you shared the post online, sent it directly to someone, printed a flyer, or simply spread the word in person.

A mission like this does not happen because of one person. It happens when a community comes together, watching this information continue to reach families throughout Central Texas has my heart incredibly full.

One of the biggest additions to this year’s Market with a Mission is our Mobile Distribution Program. Last year, we saw firsthand that there were families who needed these resources but simply could not physically make it to the event because of transportation, mobility, caregiving responsibilities, work schedules, or other circumstances. This year, we wanted to help close that gap by bringing the resources to them.

Through mobile distribution, we are working to reach families throughout Bell, Coryell, and Lampasas Counties, including Killeen, Temple, Harker Heights, Belton, Copperas Cove, Lampasas, Gatesville, and surrounding communities. We are also grateful for community partners who are helping us extend our reach even further.

Community collaboration is exactly what SAFE Central Texas is all about. 💚

We had a wonderful meeting and received so much valuable information about the protocols, procedures, and resources available when someone in our community is experiencing a mental health crisis.

It was wonderful seeing the Canyon Creek Behavioral Health team again and having them join us alongside so many other community organizations.

We are excited to visit Canyon Creek next month and continue strengthening this partnership. When our organizations know one another, understand the resources available, and work together, we are better equipped to serve our community.

💚 Community Spotlight: Graze Craze Killeen 💚

Some businesses simply open their doors every morning.

Others open their hearts to an entire community.

For the past year, Graze Craze Killeen has been so much more than a place to enjoy an incredible charcuterie board.
