Maple, previously known as Wyatt is still in critical condition under the care of an amazing foster mama who is also an experienced veterinary technician. Maple has shown some improvement, however he has a long road ahead of him.

We have been doing more and more amputations lately. These are always hardship cases - someone who can’t afford surgery in a typical brick and mortar clinic, or a stray, or a shelter animal. It’s always our pleasure to help out these unfortunate animals and the people who care for them (even strays often have a finder who is vested in seeing the animal get better!).

Today was a porch cat who came from Snip and Tip. Even though he received a deeply discounted surgery, we still provide the best surgical care possible. He recieved an epidural and transdermal opioids to help ease the pain from the surgery. Because of the state of his leg, he also got an antibiotic injection. All of these are much more pricey than what goes into our usual spay/neuter surgeries, but we refuse to reduce the quality of our care just because of the finances of the owner…or because a pet doesn’t have an owner!

2,748 CATS. IN ONE YEAR. 🐈

Can y’all believe we’ve already fixed 2,748 cats in 2026?!

We have been absolutely KILLING IT, and apparently we have decided that sleep and free time are simply not part of the Snip & Tip business model.

But all this snippin’ and tippin’ ain’t free, baby. 💰

We’ve spent a stupid amount of money over the last few months keeping cats moving to and from surgery, and these gas prices are starting to hurt my feelings. We also have traps that desperately need to be replaced.

So for $5 FRIDAY, we’re asking everybody to throw us FIVE little dollars. 💵 Five bucks may not feel like much, but when everybody throws in, it keeps this feral little operation rolling.

ALSOOOO… WE NEED VOLUNTEERS. 👀

We have trapped cats that need feeding, cleaning and general housekeeping EVERY SINGLE DAY. If you’ve ever thought, “Wow, I’d love to spend my free time cleaning up after angry cats who do not appreciate me,” congratulations. We have the volunteer opportunity of your dreams. ❤️
