Happy New Year from Red Dog crew! We're beyond thankful for an unforgettable season - the best one yet! Sizzle's been on fire this year. After some growing pains early on, she dominated the pre-rut and rut, consistently breaking 1000 yards and racking up a 7 recovery streak. With 33 deer found and counting, she's proven herself as a valuable asset. In response to the growing presence of drones in the field, we've taken matters into our own hands and invested in our own drone. Rest assured, our approach remains the same - we're dedicated to delivering exceptional service without taking advantage of others. Feel free to share with fellow hunters in Door, Kewaunee, Brown, and Manitowoc counties!

Sizzle said keep the new toy in the box, I got this.

The hunter knew the shot was back, but what he didn’t know was that the deer would travel 350 yards and bed next to the neighboring house. Said neighbor unknowingly jumped the deer from the bed and that’s where things got tricky. They waited until morning and could not advance past his first bed. At 28 hrs Sizzle and I entered the parking lot and she led us another 400 bloodless yards and in under 10 minutes she led us to the well expired buck.

It was a busy weekend for our Sizzle dog! After a stick in the eye incident we decided it was time to wear the Rex specs full time now while tracking. Her first recovery of the weekend was nothing short of impressive. We covered a good amount of distance in a short time with another deer expired on the trail. An untrained dog would have stopped there but she had no interest in it and knew that wasn’t our target.

Saturday Morgan and Emily from took the dogs down to Chicago for a event and they all did amazing!

Today Sizzle was standing over her trophy in a mere minutes after the hunter did the wise decision to let his liver hit deer wait overnight.

We’ve had a fair amount of proof of life’s coming in from our non fatal hits and are confident that we will keep getting more from our non recoveries with the upcoming gun season. We are on track to have our most successful year yet and appreciate all of the hunters that have trusted us to help with their recoveries. Stay away from the shoulder and if you need a hand we are just a call away

He threw everything in the book at us, but it just wasn’t enough to stop a determined Sizzle dog!

We are gearing up for the rut! Season has been slow for us so far, but we suspect that to change in a quick hurry. Kylie is on the board with a nice recovery last night, and Sizzle is working double time between tracking and racing. Good luck to all and remember to call before you grid!

It almost go time Wisconsin! I just wanted to put out the Wisconsin Deer Tracking Network list for this year. Every tracker on this list has been vetted so you can be confident you’re getting a quality team right off the bat! We will be kicking off our Wisconsin season on Monday, but encourage everyone to call if they need assistance! We are looking forward to another great year!

First workout is in! We are ready to track and couldn’t be more excited to start our season. We will be accepting tracks through the TRAKR app as well as working with the ND Tracking Dog Group. Good luck everyone! Let’s make this year a great one!

Season is almost upon us! Sizzle and I will be starting our season early in North Dakota for their opening week of bow season. Feel free to share our information with anyone you may know that will be out there as well.

Atta girl Sizzle! People often ask what we do when we aren’t tracking. Well we train for tracking. We couldn’t be happier with how Sizzle worked the line, and received some good information to improve our training. 2025 season can’t come fast enough!
