Okay, I know dressing up dogs isn’t everyone’s thing—and that’s totally okay! To each their own. 😂
But over here, we LOVE it, and thankfully Charlie seems pretty happy being our adorable little model.
Today Charlie tried on the CUTEST little jean jacket with a hoodie, and I seriously cannot get over him in it! Between the little denim jackets, knit sweaters, harness dresses, harness jackets and all the other adorable dog clothes on SHEIN, there are SO many cute options—and the prices are kind of incredible. You can sometimes grab five or six different pieces for around what you might spend on one outfit at a typical pet store.
I’ve especially been loving the little harness jackets and harness dresses. When they fit properly, they seem to sit really nicely across our puppies without putting unnecessary pressure around that delicate trachea area, which is something I’m always mindful of with Pomeranians.
Of course, cute NEVER comes before comfort or safety. If one of our dogs were fussing, rolling around trying to get something off, uncomfortable, getting too warm, or wearing something that didn’t fit safely, we’d take it right off. No outfit is worth making a puppy uncomfortable. But as long as they’re comfortable, safe and enjoying all the extra attention… we’re going to keep having fun with it.🥰
And so far, most of our Poms seem to enjoy it too!
And can we talk about CHARLIE?! This little guy is such a sweetheart. He does SO well being dressed, handled and cuddled, and he’s been doing wonderfully with his training. He was seriously the cutest little model for this video! And as the weeks go by, we’re seeing more and more of that gorgeous red coloring coming through.
He’s still such a young little pup, but we’re incredibly happy with how he’s developing and how sweet his personality continues to be. Sometimes these silly little moments—trying on tiny jean jackets, cuddling puppies and laughing at how ridiculously cute they look—end up being some of the best memories. ❤️
