Thank you all for liking and following my page! I’d like to start off with an introduction of the people behind the business:

First off is me – Charlie. I’ve always had a passion for animals and grew up with quite a few. I’ve owned about every small critter you could get at a pet store (rats being my favorite by far) and there was always a family dog in the house. I got my own dog at 17, a grumpy old Chihuahua named Pedro. I fell in love and have been dog crazy ever since! Professionally, I first started working in a boarding/doggy daycare facility where I learned basic dog body language and behaviors. After many years, I moved into the veterinary field full time as a veterinary technician. Being a vet tech is some of the hardest yet most rewarding work out there (Make sure to thank your local clinic if you haven’t recently!). After 10 years, I absorbed all things veterinary before moving into training dogs. I truly loved making such a difference in the human/dog bond. Because of all my previous history in the animal/dog field – I feel confident in handling any pet or situation while you’re away on a trip!

The other person here is my husband, Mark! We met each other at the boarding/daycare facility. He has a love for dogs just as big as mine and helps cuddle dogs when I run out of hands to pet them with. He’s the real back bone and best support system I could wish for!

Happy national dog day !! Hope everyone had a great day with their pups! Here are a few of the cuties we have in boarding for this weekend - Kenai is first (the Alaskan Klee Kai), Brookie (the mix pup) and then Ty and Brodie (Pittie and Lab).

So the exciting new is - I am opening my own Boarding/Daycare business called Zelda Pet Services!!

After some time away from the animal business, I kept longing to be with dogs (people in an office don't seem to want to talk about them as much as I do) and I know I can't physically jump back into dog training full time, but I started thinking through and building a solid business plan for boarding dogs in my home

My goal is to focus on good, quality care for each pet I watch and it will be a limit on the amount of dogs I take at a time. Be sure if you want to use me for your next trip to reach out as soon as possible to reserve your spot!

I'm so excited to start on this new journey and I'm excited to watch your pup next time you need it!
