Hello to all our valued customers! ☀️🐾

We hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful (and cool!) summer so far. We wanted to share a quick update regarding the upcoming heat.

As many of you know, our salon is small and currently equipped with just one air conditioner. On especially hot days, it can be challenging for it to keep up—especially with dryers running to take care of your beautiful pups. We’ve noticed temperatures inside the salon can rise above 77°F during these times.

For the safety and comfort of your pets, if we’re unable to keep the salon below 75°F, we may need to reschedule grooming appointments. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but your pups’ well-being is always our top priority.

We’d also like to share a quick heat reminder: if it’s too hot for you to walk barefoot outside, it’s too hot for your pup’s paws! 🐶 Try to schedule walks early in the morning or later in the evening once the ground has cooled. Protective shoes and enrichment toys are also great alternatives during extreme heat.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

With appreciation,
The Girls at Misfits Design Pet Spa 💚

“Throughout Bentley’s 19 years, there were a few times he got very sick late at night. The Salem Veterinary Emergency Clinic was there when I needed them most. They made sure he was safe, and their level of compassion was unmatched!

This month, I am honored to donate to their Guardian Angel Fund.”

✨ We had an absolute blast transforming Sherman into a little fox today—just in time for Halloween! 🦊🎃

Do you have a fun costume idea for you and your pup? We’d love to help bring it to life! October fills up fast, so be sure to snag your spot now!

A huge thank-you to Meadow’s Mutts for saving the day when I ran out of dye—you’re the best, and if we’re not the right fit for someone, I always recommend your salon. 💕

And of course, another big shoutout to Sherman’s dad for trusting the process—totally worth it! 🧡

Keep losing your pup in the sea of tails at the dog park? 👀🐕
Let’s fix that — with a splash of color! 🎨✨

We’re now offering fun, eye-catching color add-ons to help your pup stand out from the pack. Think vibrant tails, bright ears, or colorful accents — all safe, pet-friendly, and totally adorable.

💬 Heads up! Color takes extra time and TLC, so it does need to be planned before your appointment. And since this is meant to be a FUN experience, it’s best for pups who are already comfortable with grooming. Not there yet? No worries! With regular visits and confidence-building, we can work up to it!

Let’s make the dog park a little more colorful — one pup at a time. 🌈🐾

Big news from the Misfits Design Pet Spa crew! 🐾 We're bursting with excitement because our amazing groomers, Bailey and Lexi, are both expecting! 👶🍼🎉 Bailey's little one arrives this month, and Lexi's in June! To give them some much-deserved time off, Aujonae will be taking the reins until they fully return. 💖

Please note: We'll be turning off online booking and won't be accepting new clients until July/August. Aujonae's next available grooming spot is in May.
