Our newest resident is this chunky little crestie! Owners were a little too busy to look after her and made the decision to let us take her!! Working on getting new set ups for a few of the animals here including her! In the mean time we cleaned up her enclosure and she’ll be in quarantine while we monitor her health!!

Got in this Albino Nelsons tonight, definitely on the thinner side!! Original owners got him for their kid, then he stopped caring for the snake just so he got skinny, but we will fix that in no time!!

P.S. the enclosure’s in the back is bare because this is our quarantine room!!

All sorts of memories popping up today!! This one was a baby Burmese Python that had mouse bites, snake mites, wouldn’t eat, and had stuck shed on her!! We took her in and was able to rid of the snake mites very quickly, we were also able to remove all of the stuck shed which revealed all of her mouse bites on her back!! With close monitoring, and some betadine baths, her bites healed so well you almost couldn’t notice them anymore!! The original owners were trying to feed her adult mice which at the time, were WAY too big for her so she was very afraid of every meal we through at her until one day she decided she was confident enough to try again and from then on was eating like a champion!! Definitely one of my absolute favorite rescued by far!!

Had a memory of this guy pop up today!! This was our Red Tegu Fury!! We got him in as a baby and grew him to the chunky monster you see in the video!! The enclosure we got him was a 6x8x4 grow tent that was fully bio active!! It’s always nice when you get to look back on the rescues you’ve done!!

Another one for the books!! Took in this gargoyle gecko today, one eye is looking slightly cloudy so we’re gonna keep an eye on that for a few days and bump up the humidity to seeing that helps!! The owner is in school right now so they didn’t have the time they needed to care for him so they let us take him!!
