Currently driving 2 hours to the closest emergency vet that will see colony cats... in the middle of the night...why does their life mean so little, just because they are feral. I called the so called emergency vets in town and got told (very rudly) that they would not help us. We are just 2 people trying our best to help these creatures. Why? They never asked for a crappy life. They deserve to be loved too. This is not the first time we have been rudely turned away from veterinary care in our town. I am ashamed of the vets Im surrounded by. You bash on people for not taking care of their animals when you are the ones refusing to help. Kearney veterinarians need to do better. Rant over.
