Meet Kakarot, the reason I do this.

I bought Kakarot from Petco with my first ever paycheck from a job. I remember it like yesterday, 16 years old with money burning a hole in my pocket on a Friday afternoon. Loving reptiles was one thing, but having the ability to now buy one and care for it all by myself was the best feeling in the world.

Sometimes I wonder if she’s still out there in Florida eating crickets and pooping right after the cage is clean.

A good friend is someone who can motivate you to keep pushing forward even when their not present, and that’s exactly who Kakarot is to me!
