Eight weeks of The Little Birds!

I knew they were growing, of course. I’ve watched it happen every day. But seeing their weekly photos together really puts into perspective just how much has changed in such a short time.

From four tiny newborns to four very different little personalities who now seem to think they run the house.

Eight weeks of growing and somehow, they’re only getting cuter!

Observing them with new sounds and experiences helps us to learn their personalities and to find the best families for each individual kitten. It’s normal for them to startle (and they do) but we also watch for how quickly they recover and I’m always impressed how their curiosity always wins out over fear. It’s rare to see them run to hide, but if they do, it’s for just a moment before they return to investigate.
