The face that started it all ✨️
We brought Luna home when she was 8 weeks old. We knew she'd be a big girl considering she was nearly 20 lbs at 8 weeks. DNA testing tells us she is Airedale Terrier, German Shepherd, St Bernard and Boerboel Mastiff 🐾
She has always loved running, swimming, and playing ball. I noticed she started getting sore after playing too hard when she was about 3 years old. By the time she was 4, she was sore enough on a regular basis that we got some xrays and saw horrible arthritis in her knees. We did a spendy joint fluid replacement and that helped her for a few months but 6 months later she was back to baseline. That is when I got interested in massage and acupressure- I wanted to help alleviate her soreness without giving daily pain medication 💊
When I began learning and applying these techniques to my own dog -not only could I tell she enjoyed the sessions while they were happening- she started sleeping better, getting up quicker and playing with tennis balls like she did when she was a puppy 🐶
