These are Cumberland sliders, a pretty common type of turtle many people keep. Don’t be fooled by there size tho they can live up to 40 years in some cases. With that being said don’t just go out and get one cuz you want it right now, actually think and plan it out and see if it works for you. They are a commitment for a good portion of your life. I couldn’t resist making this video. This is my red belly piranha Petco sold me. Mine you they have never sold one. Either way I have him so I’m going to give him the best home possible, and eventually he will have 6 friends then a while after that (years probably) when they can have a bigger home 10 of these little monsters will be in a 500 gallon tank. I have been doing a lot of experimenting with keeping this shark and now I think I’ve finally got it, mostly. He’s got current, the water is super clean and I do constant weekly water changes. I also redid the tank layout to give him more swimming space. Is anything else arises I’ll have to tackle that too. But for now he’s doing great and it makes me so happy to see him not freaking out and beating himself up.

I am slowly working on making my videos better and more entertaining for people with also keeping it educational. Please let me know what you like about it, or what I could do better. You could also let me know what you want more of.

I redid my 170 gallon tank again. This was only because my iridescent shark was beating himself up with the old design. There wasn’t as much open swimming space so he felt cramped and scared. Now I have moved all the rocks close to the bottom with only sticks going up so that there’s as much open space as possible with also leaving hiding spots for other animals in there. Iridescent sharks also come from fast flowing rivers and are used to swimming fast so I added 2 flow makers near the bottom that make a decent current for him and he loves it. Surprisingly my Oscar loves it too. When I was don’t with the tank and he cam out of hiding and discovered the current he got so bright and happy. It was awesome. Hopefully this works out for the shark he definitely seems way happier and calmer. I did also get kranaplax for his popeye and other small wounds he had from glass surfing and beating himself up. After only a day he looks a lot better. Have a great day guys, thanks for watching😁

FOR SALE!!! This giant common pleco is for sale. Eventually I won’t have room for 3 of them and I have 2 in this 170 gallon tank and my girlfriend has another in her tank that’s gotta go in my tank soon. He must go to a tank 125 gallons or bigger I will ask for pictures and info. As you can see he’s in great shape and I’ve had him for around 8 months. I don’t really care about price for him as long as he goes to a good big home I’d take live plants broken aquariums any other aquarium supplies or cash in trade for this pleco.

125g tank in all it’s glory. Is is my absolute favorite tank and I have big fish like Oscar’s and bichir eels and catfish that can shred your fingers if you touch them wrong. But this peaceful community tank with mostly basic fish is my favorite. It just looks so good and I love how all the fish behave in there. I have put in so much work into this tank to make it look the way it does make make the fish as comfy as possible so that they do the behaviors I want. Yes a tank like this is a decent bit of work every single day, sometimes less work and sometimes more but it’s so worth it to have literally a piece of nature in a box in a house with tons of little friends. Stay positive people and have a great day.
