🌟 **A Heartfelt Thank You!** 🌟

As we wrap up another incredible season, I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to everyone who has reached out, shared a post, or tagged us in someone else’s post! Your support and engagement have made this journey even more special, and Murdoc and I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

This season has been nothing short of an adventure, filled with unforgettable experiences and cherished memories. We have witnessed the beauty of nature, honed our skills, and shared countless moments with friends and fellow enthusiasts. The camaraderie and connection we have built within our community are invaluable, and I am so thankful to be a part of it.

Looking ahead, Murdoc and I are excited to dive into off-season training, sharpening our skills and preparing for what promises to be an exhilarating Deer Season 2025 this coming Fall. We can’t wait to share more adventures with all of you!

🌲🏹 Another successful recovery thanks to Murdoc! Recently, a hunter faced a challenging situation after taking a shot that was just a bit too far back, resulting in a gut shot. The shot was approximately 80 yards away, skillfully navigating through trees, brush, and branches. After waiting an hour to track the deer, the hunter initially found no blood upon scanning the area.

Understanding the importance of patience and proper tracking, the hunter made the wise decision to back out and enlist Murdoc's expertise. After starting the search, Murdoc led us for 150 yards with still no sign of blood, and I could sense the hunter's confidence waning. Just when we were beginning to doubt, we discovered fresh blood roughly 200 yards from where the deer ran.

The journey continued through more thick brush and over barbed wire fencing for another 100 yards. Miraculously, Murdoc struck again and located the deer! It turns out the deer had traveled around 300 yards before bedding down after the initial run.

Remember, if you know you made the shot, don’t give up! You never know how far a deer might travel in these situations. This was my deer! You never know when you need to use your own tracking dog!

🌲🐾 Successful Tracking Story! 🦌

What an incredible day in the field! One brave hunter reached out to us after taking a shot at a deer that he was unsure on, with the way the deer was positioned behind some trees made his shot difficult, but with his skills he was able to tag him! With confidence in our tracking services, he reported tracking the deer for roughly 100 yards before backing out and giving us a call.

Upon arriving, we spotted just one drop of blood about 40 yards from the shot location. Murdoc, took charge and followed the scent further, leading us about 200 yards without any additional blood. Just when we thought we were in for a challenge, a small drop of blood appeared on a hillside ridge.

With Murdoc guiding the way, we ventured down into a small valley and navigated through thick brush for another 200 yards. Suddenly, Murdoc picked up a powerful scent! He tugged excitedly, pulling us around the corner and into the thick foliage. And there it was—a beautiful 6-point buck!

The emotions of finding that deer are truly indescribable. It’s a moment of pure joy and relief for every hunter! Thank you for trusting . Uriel Parra

🌲🔍 Successful Search for Steve Fazer's Buck This Evening in Fennville! 🎯

We had a thrilling experience this evening assisting Steve Fazer in the search for the buck he shot earlier. The story began when the buck was spotted nearly broadside. Steve took his shot, but just as he released the arrow, the buck turned, resulting in an unfortunate rear end shot, which resulted in a gut shot. Understanding the significance of the situation, Steve made the wise decision to wait for 8 hours before initiating the search, knowing this would minimize the risk of spooking the deer further.

The buck initially ran about 20 yards before disappearing from sight, so Steve reached out for help — and we were more than happy to assist!

This was an excellent opportunity for Murdoc, our tracking dog, whose skills were truly put to the test. Upon arriving at the shot site, Murdoc quickly began high-speed work through the dense brush. In just about 70 yards from the starting point, we successfully located the buck!

The joy on both the dog’s and the hunter’s faces was undeniable — a happy dog and a happy hunter!
