I love it!!

I am SO stuck on this bathroom! 😩 The vintage 1940s tile has to stay, my husband picked the faucet (which also has to stay), and we’re planning to paint the vanity white. But when it comes to the lighting and mirror, I’m completely lost!

There used to be a medicine cabinet in the middle, but I cannot find anything with similar dimensions anywhere. Yay for old houses! 😂 The lights also need to work with the small 16x24 mirror I’m considering, which makes everything a little more challenging.

Should I go with gold lighting and a matching mirror, stick with black, or mix things up? And what about the shower curtain? Should I keep the black-and-white stripes or switch to something else?

I’m trying to achieve that warm, collected, vintage-meets-organic Amber Lewis vibe without the Amber Lewis budget. 😂 I want the bathroom to feel timeless, cozy, and pulled together while working with the things we can’t change.

Please help me figure out the mirror, lighting, and shower curtain! I’m officially overthinking every little detail. 😅

Pick a couple of your favorites and give the soffit more breathing space. You’ve got the right idea, but too crowded.

Is this too much? 😅 I love the individual pieces, but I feel like I like the overall look without completely loving it yet! I’m trying to create a warm, cozy, collected kitchen with a natural, earthy feel, but I’m wondering if I’ve gone a little overboard with the decor above my cabinets.

I have beautiful dark wood cabinets with brass hardware, stainless steel appliances, and a mix of woven baskets, decorative plates, pottery, wooden pieces, and greenery. I love the organic textures and warm tones, but I’m not sure everything is working together the way I imagined.

Should I remove some of the baskets and decor to create more breathing room? Is there too much going on above the cabinets, or does it just need to be arranged differently? Would you keep the greenery, simplify the pottery, or change up the balance of colors and textures?

I want the kitchen to feel thoughtfully styled, warm, and inviting without looking cluttered or overly decorated. I’d love to hear honest opinions and suggestions on what you would keep, remove, or change to make it feel more cohesive.

I feel like I’m close, but something just isn’t quite right! What would you do? 🤎

A faux plant.

Got any ideas on what to do with this space here?
At first glance it may look useless, but this little corner beside the stairs could actually become one of the coolest spots in the house.

Some people would turn it into a cozy reading nook with cushions and warm lights 📚✨
Others might create a mini indoor garden filled with plants to make the space feel fresh and alive 🌿

You could also add a stylish bench, floating shelves, family photos, or even a small coffee corner ☕
With the right design, this forgotten area can become both beautiful and useful instead of just empty space.
