🚨 WEBINAR ALERT!
📅 June 18 @ 4 PM ET

On June 3, 2026, the U.S. Department of Agriculture confirmed New World Screwworm in the umbilical area of a calf in Zavala County, Texas. This expansion into the United States is alarming.

US Equestrian is partnering with the AAEP to bring you the information you need about the risk to horses and how you can keep your equine partners safe.

Dr. Katie Flynn, Senior Staff Veterinarian for Equine Health and Biosecurity at USEF, will be joined by Dr. Neil Gray, sport horse practitioner in California.

Without turning this into a post slandering law enforcement, because that’s NOT what we’re going to do here, let’s talk about this video!

I personally have witnessed first hand a general lack of obedience with law enforcement canines, and I see it online all the time. Look up videos of bite sport competitions and tell me why these dogs appear to have a much more solid foundation than some of the dogs we’re seeing in departments?

Are we rushing the training of police dogs? Are we skipping some steps? Is obedience coming before the bite or bite before the obedience?

I am genuinely curious!

“What the hell are you doing here?” …. “Oh you have snacks?!” 😂

To be honest, I just needed to hug my horse. Life has been so heavy lately and I feel super lost and just needed a little grounding.

Although he’s not in my own pasture quite yet, he’s so close to home that I can decide to get out in the middle of a storm to go give him a hug and some snacks. It really is the little things sometimes. ❤️

Tell me you love dogs, without telling me you love dogs. 🤣👇🏼

The first photo is the back yard currently at the new house and the second photo is my AI inspo. I reached out to Shaw's Dirt Work LLC for a quote on my dream back yard because F*** the mud and to my surprise it was SUPER under the budget.

Ashley’s dogs were my second deployment boarding clients ever. Tank and Emma will forever hold a special place in my heart. We’ve stayed in touch and actually adopted a super handsome Golden Retriever to their family.

Brendon and Ashley are some honest people and although the job hasn’t been completed yet, I have been watching their work for a while, patiently waiting for my time to shine and have been very impressed!

Stay tuned for the process and shoutout to my Papa for agreeing to help us put up a fence… again! 🤣

We are so blessed to have friends whom are willing and able to help us with the dogs and our horse Chili while we navigate through the process of buying a house and moving! It’s a big relief knowing that they are all happy while away from home! Missing them much, but this move will be so worth it! ❤️

What the actual f*** is going on with pet sitters in Junction City?!

We’ve got pet sitters turning in client dogs as strays, locking dogs in a room with a cat and letting it get mauled to death, making dogs sit in their own filth for extended periods of time, leaving them outside, dumping them, etc. This is NOT NORMAL and NOT OKAY!

If you are a current pet sitter and need guidance, please reach out. If you’re thinking about starting your own gig and need some help, reach out!! I am in competition with no one and I am always willing to chat and share my experiences and what not.

What I’m not cool with is pet sitters not doing their homework and only seeing dollar signs.

Pet sitting requires patience, compassion, resilience, skill, and common sense. This is not a quick and easy way to make money! The first priority is the animals, not your paycheck!

P.S. sorry for the cuss words. This one struck a nerve!
