Last year’s pairing of Tortilla × Lux Æterna has completely exceeded every expectation 🤩

Going into this project, I really wanted to experiment with Tortilla’s incredible snowflaking and Lux Æterna’s strong tricolor genetics to see how those traits would complement each other. From the moment the first hatchlings emerged, it was obvious this pairing was something special!

Projects like this are exactly why we spend so much time carefully selecting pairings. It’s never just about producing babies—it’s about improving with each generation and creating animals that are healthier, more refined, and even more striking than the last!! 🦎

Watching these hatchlings grow over the past year has been so rewarding, and I couldn’t be happier with what Tortilla and Lux Æterna have accomplished together. I have a feeling this pairing is going to be one I’ll look back on for a very long time! 🫶💚
