🐾 A little update from Mountainview Mastiffs of Connecticut! ❤️
Our girl Amy Sue has been bred to the handsome Theodore! ❤️🐾
We did our first artificial insemination on Sunday and another one on Monday, both using fresh semen.
Between the progesterone testing, vet appointments, figuring out the timing, and everything else going on around here, it's been a little crazy! 😂
People don't always realize how much time, planning, and work goes into breeding these beautiful dogs. There's a whole lot more to it than just putting two dogs together!
Now we wait, and anybody who knows me knows I'm not the most patient person when it comes to waiting for puppy news! 😂
We're hoping and praying everything goes well and that Amy Sue and Theodore will bless us with some beautiful English Mastiff babies!
Nothing is guaranteed, and we won't know for sure until we do a pregnancy check, but I'm excited and wanted to share what's happening here.
I'll keep everybody updated as we go along!
📸 Photos of Amy Sue and Theodore coming soon!
And as always, thank you to everyone who follows our dogs and loves them as much as we do! ❤️🐾
