Thank you Onalaska Farm Sanctuary for another very helpful, informational post!

The “R” in TNR (or TNVR) is for “RETURN.”

Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return is the IDEAL, because cats who were born and have lived their lives outdoors are not homeless. Where they live outdoors is their home.

Occasionally, and only as a last resort, for their continued safety and well-being, cats living out doors need to be relocated.

An acclimation of at least 3 weeks, ideally 6 weeks, is essential to the success of relocation. Here in SE GA, if you relocate a cat/cats without acclimating them, you are not saving cats. You are feeding coyotes.

$700 NEEDED to SAVE $1800 TODAY??? That’s RIGHT! 😸 And, we need it very soon—by noon TODAY!🙀 (We found out this morning that a promised donation to make this purchase and buy $500 in dry food is delayed until the end of the month.)

Since Tuesday, donations to help meet our current most outstanding needs have almost completely stalled, with just 1 FabuFriend giving $50 to help.

We were $875 short, and were not able to take advantage of the opportunity to buy a month’s supply of wet food for $900–a savings of $1500 off what we’ve been having to pay retail for the least expensive food available.

BUT, we have an even MORE FABULOUS opportunity TODAY to buy a month’s supply of the BEST quality wet food for $700!!!🎉🐈‍⬛🎉 (Retail value for the quantity we have the opportunity to buy of this good is $9,295!)

$175 per week, instead of $600, to feed almost 400 FabuCats and kittens is FABULOUS, indeed! Not worrying about wet food every day for a month is PRICELESS!

$175 sponsors 1 week of wet food. Sponsor a week or give whatever you can to help us make this happen TODAY!

React, Comment, Share, and, if you can, GIVE lNOW, purrrty please!💖🐈💖

Precious little Lady Marmalade has given a lip smacking 5 ⭐️ review of the goood milk she just enjoyed—💖🐈💖

One of a litter of 4 bottle babies who came to us from Long County Animal Control by way of our friends at K9 Battle Buddies, Marmalade is a rare ginger girl, and she is oh so cuddly and fun! The ginger coat color is gender specific, and only about 25% of ginger cats are female—💙💙💙💖!

In another month, she’ll be ready for her . BUT, if you’ve fallen in looove, she could go home as early as next week as a foster-to-adopt! 💖🐈💖

Are YOU his Huckleberry???

5 month old Doc loves cuddles and giving kisses. An indoor only, litter box champ, he has been lovingly cared for since being found as a tiny kitten.

His caretaker hoped to be his forever person, but the person in charge of her home has said, “No, no, NO!” and has handed Doc his eviction papers with a deadline of TOMORROW!

We want to help Doc, but we can’t without a or foster-to-adopter who can give this sweet boy a soft, safe place to land today!

If you can help Doc TODAY, please DM us on Messenger or email us at [email protected] with Doc as the subject line!

We will vaccinate, deworm, and flea treat him today, and supply everything he needs. He has an appointment to be fixed on Monday, and will be ready for his in two weeks.

Please help FabuCats help Doc!

Yesterday, there was not a spare minute to read this post, but this morning, when we did…😭😭😭

The thoughtful wisdom, kindness, generosity, love for community, and sheer “can do” grit of Miss Kathy and WAGS RescWAGS Rescue, Inc is unparalleled!
, indeed!

What an incredible gift to and opportunity for our community! How lucky our we Wayne County to have Kathy Jones and WAGS??? !

Words are not sufficient to express our gratitude. We will hunker down, continue striving to make a positive difference, and work hard to pay it forward.

Please, visit wags-rescue.org and give what you can to help fully fund the December Dog Spay/Neuter
event!

—it’s the most humane and effective solution to the overpopulation crisis.

Update! We have filled our 75 spots!!

Wags is ready to help the ones in our community of Wayne County with CAT spay/neuters and microchips!
Owners will be responsible for a 15.00 rabies fee.
Yes, we said Cats. Even though we are a DOG only rescue, we recognize the severity of the need in the Cat world here.
The local cat rescue, Fabucats, simply cannot keep up with the demands of the cat population. She’s wearing herself out with very little assistance. Wags would like to help. The Ga Dept of Ag grant and other donations will help us get some under control.
Don’t worry, Wags has already scheduled a Dog event too in December. I have faith in our followers that we can fund raise enough to accomplish both Dog and Cat events and have a couple of mos to launch that fundraiser. You know the kind of work we do for our community and hopefully we will get that support.
Right now….. let’s get some Cats done.
Please call only once and if no answer, leave a message. She will answer them in order.
Thank you Dr Kluska for setting aside 75 spots for Wags to schedule!
