💙 We're wrapping up Vet Tech Week with Sara, one of our wonderful Licensed Veterinary Technicians! 💙

Sara brings a wealth of experience to JAH from different areas of veterinary medicine, and we’re so lucky to have all that knowledge on our team! She’s always looking for ways to make our day-to-day protocols better, smoother, and ultimately better for both our patients and our team. Sara especially enjoys surgery, hands-on patient care, and of course, any opportunity to spend a little extra time with the dogs. 🐶💙 What we appreciate most about Sara is that she doesn’t just come to work and do the job, she looks for ways to make the job better. Her experience, ideas, and dedication to great patient care continue to make an impact at JAH.

We’re so grateful you’re part of our team, Sara! Happy Vet Tech Week! 🐾

💙 Next up, Shannon - one of our Veterinary Assistants AND Client Care Coordinators! 💙

Shannon’s journey at JAH started at the front desk, where she quickly discovered just how much she loves getting to know our clients and their pets. Now, she’s taking that love for one-on-one connection into a new chapter as she learns and grows on the veterinary assistant side of our hospital! Whether she’s helping a client at the front desk or making friends with every poodle that comes through the door 🐩, Shannon brings so much personality and heart to what she does. We love watching her step outside of her comfort zone, learn new skills, and find even more ways to care for the people and pets who walk through our doors.

We’re so proud of you, Shannon, and so happy you’re part of our JAH family! 💙🐾

💙 Next up, we’re celebrating Bella, one of our wonderful Veterinary Assistants! 💙

Bella is one of those people who can brighten up a room just by walking into it! With her big smile and upbeat personality, she brings such a fun, positive energy to our team every day. While she loves caring for all of our patients (and has an extra special place in her heart for horses 🐴 neeeighhhh), one of Bella’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine is getting to know the people who love them. She has a natural way of making clients feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for, and those relationships mean just as much to her as the medicine.

We’re so grateful for the smiles, kindness, and heart Bella brings to JAH. Keep shining, Bells! 💙🐾

💙 Next up, we’re celebrating Hanna, one of our amazing Veterinary Assistants! 💙

If there’s a Pittie or bully breed in the building, you can bet Hanna is already in love. 🐶 She has a huge heart for her patients and has truly become a master of her role, whether she’s rocking a blood draw, jumping in to help wherever she’s needed, or helping a client navigate the best path of care for their pet. One of the things we love most about Hanna is the confidence and knowledge she brings to her work while still making sure our clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable with their pet’s care. And of course, we couldn’t talk about Hanna without mentioning the FUN she brings with her! She makes JAH a better place to work.

We’re so lucky to have your skill, heart, and personality on our team, Hanna! 💙🐾

💙 Meet Brenna, one of our amazing Licensed Veterinary Technicians! 💙

If there’s surgery happening, chances are Brenna is right where she wants to be! She loves the hands-on side of veterinary medicine, caring for her patients, and making sure every little detail is taken care of. Brenna is also one of those people you want beside you when things get a little crazy. She’s calm in the chaos, dependable when it matters most, and brings so much knowledge and experience to our team. We’re so lucky to have her steady hands, caring heart, and love for her patients at JAH.

Happy Vet Tech Week, Brenna! We appreciate you more than you know! 💙

💙 Today we’re celebrating Margaret, our Lead Veterinary Technician! 💙

Margaret has a special gift when it comes to caring for animals. She has a kind, soulful way about her that can make even the most nervous or scared patient feel a little safer, and our feline patients especially seem to know they’ve found a friend in her. 🐱 She also has a passion for orthopedic surgery and loves being part of the skill, precision, and teamwork that goes into helping our patients get back on their feet. As our Lead Vet Tech, Margaret brings knowledge, compassion, and a steady presence to our team every single day. We’re incredibly grateful for the heart she puts into her work and the gentle care she gives each patient as if they were her own.

Happy Vet Tech Week, Margaret! We’re so lucky to have you. 💙🐾

There are some people who make a workplace feel like more than just a workplace, and we’re lucky enough to have a whole team of them. 💙 This National Veterinary Technician Week, we’re celebrating the incredible people who bring so much heart to Jenison Animal Hospital every single day.

They’re the familiar faces your pets learn to trust, the extra set of hands when things get busy, the calm in stressful moments, and the teammates who show up for each other again and again. They work hard, keep learning, laugh with us, cry with us, and care deeply about every animal that walks through our doors. We’re proud of the medicine they help us provide, but even more proud of the people they are. To our veterinary technicians and assistants... this place simply wouldn’t be the same without you. We hope you know just how loved and appreciated you are. 🐾💙

Happy National Veterinary Technician Week!
