I took two more babies in to help me work with Lulu (not sure she needs the help) and this is how she feels about it.
One of the two new ones passed in the night.

Lulu is ready for that special someone to take her home and continue to help her hone her biscuit making skills! She still isn’t a lap kitty, but that may come with time and patience. She is food motivated and has realized humans can be good!

Some improvements! She still hisses when I put my hand in, but no follow up to that hiss. She likes to be loved on, but not held very long

It has been a while, I am sorry, had a few personal things going on, and our shelter has found more fosters to help.
Since I couldn’t get kittens, I volunteered to take a kitten that was an outdoor stray to try and make more social. Here is where we are starting….

This little lady has BEAUTIFUL markings! She will be ready for adoption at the Jeffersonville Animal Shelter on Thursday, August 6. I have a family coming to do a meet and greet of the five kittens I have in my foster room right now. THREE are bobtails! One grey tiger bobtail, two orange and white bobtails!

This is mama sleeves- she was given to me to try and nurse baby Tippy. It’s possible, but I am paranoid…. But- she will deserve a wonderful person to love her after she helps me support baby Tips.

I’m back from my trip! I took one day to “recover” and then went and picked up a new foster.
Meet Tipper- and hopefully step mama Sleeves!
Tipper was brought in on Friday, and within an hour I was coming to get her to allow our saintly Jessica and Briawna a break from bottle babies.
Mama had just had her babies taken and started in the adoptive process, so she was still full of milk and willing.
It’s been a lot of watching (stalking) to ensure that mama will take care of Tipper and I won’t have to bottle feed, so far I have been able to find the right combo of heat, mamas preferred sleeping area and patience to allow mama break time.
Here’s hoping- because if it doesn’t work- I go back to school and I can’t do the bottle baby Tipper. I think she is about two weeks old, only 10 ounces, so I am weighing in grams to document the tiniest of gains.

This was the coolest, they let me go to the restricted area and see the mama and kittens, and they have at LEAST two blind cats that they take care of….
I’m so content right now, my baby, and seeing international care of animals.
