🐾 WHAT MAKES AN M&M’s MINI? 🐾

We know there are lots of places to find a puppy, so what makes bringing home one of ours special?

For us, it starts long before those tiny paws ever reach your doorstep. ❤️

Our puppies are born and raised right here with our family, where they’re surrounded by love, attention, and the everyday sounds of a busy home.

They’re handled and loved on by us and our kiddos as they grow, with age-appropriate experiences that help prepare them for life beyond our home.

We watch their personalities develop, celebrate every little milestone, and do our very best to give each puppy a healthy, happy beginning.

And when it’s finally time to go home, we send our babies off with a little piece of where they started. 🥹

Their going-home bags include:

🐾 A familiar blanket carrying the scents of their momma, daddy, and siblings

🐾 A chew toy for their new adventures

🐾 Puppy food to help with their transition

🐾 Their veterinary records and important information from birth

Because to us, they’re never just puppies.

They’re little lives we’ve been entrusted to care for, and future family members we want to see loved for a lifetime.

🎃👻 THREE WEEKS OF SPOOKY! 👻🎃

Somebody explain to me how our Spooky Litter is already THREE WEEKS OLD?!

I swear we were just welcoming these tiny pumpkins into the world, and now we’re watching them change right before our eyes. 🥹

Our little crew is growing, their personalities are getting bigger, and the cuteness is becoming a serious problem around here.

👑 Shadow: 1 lb 14 ozs, eyes open and scuffling with siblings 😆

💙 Jack: 1 lb 12 ozs, eyes open and beginning to walk!

💜 Cas: 1 lb 2 ozs, eyes open and nursing on her own!

And Momma Maggie? She’s still doing a wonderful job caring for her babies while regularly reminding the rest of us that she deserves attention, too. 😂❤️

These next few weeks are some of my favorites as the babies become more aware of the world around them and start discovering those tiny little legs.

We are so thankful for everyone who has followed along with these three since day one.

Same momma. Same daddy. Same birthday.

Three VERY different personalities. 😂

👑 SHADOW — The Self-Appointed Boss

Firstborn. First in line at the milk bar. First to let everybody know when she’s unhappy.

She’s loud, opinionated, and has absolutely no plans to apologize for either. If there’s food involved, you better believe Shadow has already claimed her spot.

💙 JACK — The Unbothered Gentleman

Jack is just here for a good meal and a comfortable place to lay his head.

He prefers his momma’s snuggles, doesn’t see the need for unnecessary drama, and is perfectly content letting his sisters handle all the yelling.

💜 CAS — The Tiny but Mighty Princess

She may have started life as the smallest of the bunch, but don’t you dare mistake small for weak!

Our little fighter has proven that she’s got determination, a healthy appetite, and enough personality to make sure nobody overlooks her.

There’s a whole lot more to raising puppies than the cute pictures you see on Facebook. 🤎🐾

There are sleepless nights, constant check-ins, tiny weigh-ins, extra feedings when needed, and moments when you find yourself staring into a whelping box just to make sure everybody is doing okay.

And then there are the moments that make every bit of it worth it.

Watching Maggie love her babies. Seeing those tiny eyes open for the first time. Hearing the kids giggle over the smallest little puppy noises. Watching personalities begin to shine through.

We get to love these babies first. We get to help them grow, keep them safe, and give them the best beginning we possibly can.

But the sweetest part?

Knowing that one day, they’ll be somebody else’s best friend. Somebody’s favorite hello. Somebody’s little shadow following them from room to room.

And while saying goodbye is never the easiest part, knowing how much love is waiting for them makes it all worth it.

That’s the heart behind M&M’s Minis. ❤️🐾

👻🖤 Spooky Litter Sunday Spotlight: SHADOW! 🖤👻

First girl born, first place at the milk bar, and FIRST to let you know exactly how she feels about EVERYTHING! 😂💕

Miss Shadow is currently leading the pack in both eating and weight gain, and she has absolutely no intentions of giving up her title. 🍼🏆

She’s the loudest of the bunch, has opinions about everything, and is completely unapologetic about sharing them. We’re pretty sure she inherited every bit of her momma Maggie’s sass! 💁‍♀️

But underneath all that attitude? A total cuddle bug! 🥹 She loves snuggling up with Momma, her siblings, and any human willing to scoop her up for some extra love. ❤️

Big appetite. Bigger personality. Biggest opinions. That’s our Shadow girl! 🖤🐾

🖤🤎 Meet Jack! 🤎🖤

🏡 This handsome little heart-stealer is looking for his forever family! 🐾

💙 Jack is an AKC black & tan long-haired miniature dachshund with an incredibly soft coat and the sweetest little personality!

🥰 He’s a laid-back little gentleman who loves his snuggles and is perfectly happy soaking up all the love and attention he can get.

🎃🐾 TWO WEEKS OF SPOOKY LITTLE M&M’s! 🐾🎃

How are our three little nuggets already TWO weeks old?! 🥹💕 The personalities are getting bigger, the bellies are getting rounder, and the puppy noises are getting LOUDER! 😂

🐾 Momma Maggie: Still rocking this motherhood thing like the queen she is! 👑 She’s been the BEST momma to her babies, but she’s also starting to enjoy a little me time again. She’s coming out to play with Max and MK, sneaking in some much-deserved human snuggles, and patiently tolerating all of us passing her babies around like precious little footballs. 😂❤️

🖤 Shadow: Our firstborn has officially claimed the titles of BIGGEST and LOUDEST this week! 📢 Her eyes are fully open, her appetite is impressive, and her opinions are even bigger. She’s also discovered that kiddo snuggles aren’t half bad. This little diva is definitely her mother’s daughter! 💁‍♀️

🎃 Jack: Don’t let his quieter personality fool you… this boy is giving his sister some serious competition in the eating department! 🍼 His favorite place is still snuggled up with Momma Maggie, but he’ll graciously accept the kiddos as his second choice. 😂 He’s our most generous giver of sweet puppy sugars, and those little eyes are FINALLY starting to peek open! 😍

👻 Cas: Our tiniest little fighter continues to BLOW US AWAY! 💜 Her weight gain has been incredible, her opinions are getting louder by the day, and she’s becoming more independent with her meals! That means fewer formula supplements and a little more sleep for this tired puppy momma. 🙌🏼😂 We’re still waiting for those sweet little peepers to make their debut, but until then, she’s making sure we know she’s here!

Two weeks of tiny paws, puppy breath, midnight feedings, happy tears, and SO much love. 🥹❤️

Watching these three grow and develop their own little personalities is one of our favorite parts of raising puppies. And getting to share these moments with our kiddos makes it even sweeter.

🐾💕 Can we take a minute to brag on our littlest drama queen, MK?! 💕

Princess Macie-Kate Rae has been SUCH a good sport since the newest M&M’s babies arrived! 🥹

Our usually spicy little girl has been surprisingly patient, calm, and so sweet through all the changes. She’s been genuinely concerned about Maggie, respectful of the babies, and has apparently appointed herself Head of Bedroom Security. 🚨🐶

And by security, we mean barking. LOTS of barking. Because apparently EVERYTHING is suspicious when there are newborns in the house. 🤦‍♀️😂

But we know she’s missing her playmate, Maggie. 💔 Her partner in crime is busy being a mama, and MK is having to figure out this whole “sharing the spotlight” situation.

For a little girl who’s used to being spoiled rotten, she’s handling it all better than we could’ve imagined! 🥰

We see you, MK! Your patience hasn’t gone unnoticed… even if your barking can be heard three counties over. 🤣💜

🥹♥️ A MOMENT WE WISH WE COULD KEEP FOREVER ♥️🐾

Today was a special day at M&M’s… our kids got to hold the puppies for the very first time! 🐶🥰 This is truly the time they look forward to most.

To some, it might just look like little kids holding tiny puppies. But to us, it’s so much more than that.

These babies are being raised right in the middle of our everyday chaos… surrounded by little voices, little hands, and a whole lot of love. Our kids get to watch them grow, learn how to be gentle with them, celebrate their milestones, and be part of the beginning of their little stories. ❤️

One day, these puppies will leave our home and become someone else’s whole world. But before they ever belong to another family, they get to be a little part of ours. And our kids get to make memories with them that we hope they’ll carry forever. 🥹

This is one of the reasons we do what we do. Not just to raise beautiful little dachshunds, but to raise them with love, to teach our kids compassion, and to give these babies the sweetest beginning we can.

Tiny puppies. Little hands. Big hearts. Memories we wouldn’t trade for anything. ♥️🐾
